Surprisingly Amazing
Overall, the landscape is amazing, the hotel decoration is great, the food is good enough, the service is very friendly, the driver is awesome and kind, the shuttle is always on time, and the biggest surprise was when they upgraded my plunge pool room into private pool villa!!! AMAZING!! How lucky we are.We just stated that we are couples, and they set our room as honemooners. Great!!We love UBUD so much..and Santi Mandala as well. Would like to come back again.

Perfect stay following long flight and introduction to the delights of Bali
Lovely situation, ideal if you want to recharge after long journey. As a single traveller I found the staff really kind and welcoming. Room view lovely. It was clean but I feel a little tired. Semi outdoor bathroom is an experience but I suspect not ideal for some. I enjoyed it though! This was the only hotel on my holiday that explained where everything was in the room and how things worked including the AC which would have been helpful elsewhere!I enjoyed breakfast and the attentive service and the evening meals were delicious, especially the Balinese chicken stew which had a real ginger kick! The Temple in grounds was blessed on one day of my stay which might have been intrusive but in fact I found it a fascinating day and i enjoyed watching and listening to the days activities. it added to my overall experience of Balinese culture without having to step outside of the hotel. The pool situation is great but the surrounding seating area a little tired and not enough parasols to go around which means you feel rather exposed and no where to sit comfortably. Which is a shame and I can imagine a busier times may cause some problems.Overall a lovely stay which I recommend for a couple of days if you are a garden room booker, perhaps longer if you upgrade

Beautiful place to relax
We stayed at Santi for 5 Days in a Plunge-Pool-Villa. The best for us was the privacy. Nice room and a wonderful garden. The breakfast buffet could be better. Dinner at Hotel-Restaurant was very good. Think we come back ....

Amazing visual
This hotel is so beautiful! It's peaceful and everyone is friendly. Be prepared to wall a lot of stairs if staying in garden villas! Good workout though. The rooms are beautiful and we even had lizard visitors! It is not a well located place if you want to walk around and explore, as there is no shops or anything in walking distance

Loved everything about Santi Mandala
We stayed at the Santi Mandala for two wonderful weeks. We stayed in the garden villa and absolutey loved our room:) The staff was amazing!!! The gardners were always making the place beautiful. I enjoyed the location I really liked being out if town but the shuttle service is great so it's easy to get to town:) every morning there were flower petals strewn across the ground like someone had placed them just for us:) I took the cooking class and as a professional chef I really enjoyed this class. Well worth it!!! I got to cook with ingredients that I've never seen. I really recommend the cooking class:) all the staff were always willing to help with anything that I needed:) and the geese in the river I felt were the unofficial mascots I loved them.
