Friendly Staff but so so hotel
As this hotel is categorized 4 star, I was disappointed with the size of the room, bathroom was very small with a soap the size of a stamp and enough shampoo for a bald man.I have to say the staff was very kind and the breakfast was fine.

Avoid avoid avoid
Bathroom dirty. Sky TV ¿¿¿5 a day extra. Internet connectivity ¿¿¿10 a day extra. Everything geared to make as much money as possible. Everyone gives wireless connectivity for free nowadays. All airports and restaurans and most hotels are free. This hotel wants ¿¿¿10 a day extra for it. No irons in the hotel at all. Not want you want to hear when you have arrived with a suitcase full of shirts and suits. I won't be rushing back to stay here again anytime soon.

Warm welcome with good food in the resto
We stayed here for a night as we explore Pontedera (my husband being a Vespa enthusiast and officer of VespaCLubPh). The room was comfortable, there's a supermarket nearby, and the restaurant at the lobby has absulutely great food. Am still thinking about the dish I ordered!The Capuccino served at breakfast is absolutely great!Though the place is not that convenient for a one night stay, it is maybe a good alternative to Florence area hotel for a longer stay when time is not much of an issue.We use the place as our based as we checked out the Tuscany region.

Quaint
Good for a one night stay. Room was not very good for the value. However, food at the restaurant was quite good. Breakfast spread was passable. Could have been better. One needs to know Latin to be able to converse in this city.

good option
this hotel is fairly good with very nice service and cozy room, It is located in Empoli which take 6-8 mins to empoli train station with taxi, Empoli is not far from Florence, if you want to avoid the rip off hotel in Florence, this is a prefect nice cheap alternative.
