Great location for business or leisure
The Vibe is located in North Sydney just over the Sydney Harbor bridge, you can either walk over the bridge or as I did but a weekly train/bus pass as Milsons point station is right opposite the hotel, you can also take the ferry from Milsons Point over to circular Key or other destinations. The hotel rooms are pretty decent for the price although the breakfast although really good is a little pricey at $30 per day although they were responding to complaints and reducing the price to $20 however when I checked out the billing want consistant. The cost of intrnet access willalso blow your mind at $12 per hour! Not good for a business traveller, I found a good cafe with breakfast between $16-$20 and free wifi just up the road in North Sydney. The Staff at the hotel were friendly however I still had to wait until noon for a room as I arrived at 8 am after a 26 hr+ trip from Boston via London, they didnt sem interested in trying to pull some strings an getting me in to a room sooner as I had metings that afternoon.

Not 5 star but very comfortable and great location
Lovely hotel with very helpful front desk staff.Hotel rooms are quite roomy although interior a little bit out dated,but still comfortable.Location is a plus with great hotels and restaurants with in walking distance of the hotel.Train station just across the road and 10 minute walk to a ferry terminal near Luna park.

Excellent Location!!
If you want to explore Sydney via Sydney¿¿¿s City Rail, this hotel is the best in sydney. The property is just opposite the north shore line¿¿¿s Milson Point station. The location of the hotel makes it very easy to travel anywhere is Sydney. The rooms large and have lovely views of the harbor. The sunrise rise view on the harbor from my room was a splendid morning treat. Breakfast in the morning had a wide variety. I dined at the restaurant one evening and was very impressed with the quality and the taste of food. The staff is friendly and helpful with local sightseeing queries. I stayed there for 9 days and was very impressed by the hotel. If I come back to Sydney, I will definitely stay at the Vibe.

Close to the City and everything you need
Arrived at this hotel on a busy thursday afternoon straight off a delayed flight from melbourne (which is normal) and checked straight into the hotel. The room was a reasonable size and had good amenities. Had a balcony with a view over a courtyard and rooftop which was okay. The location is amazing, a few steps to Milsons point train station to the city or to head north, OR walk to the end of the street to the ferry wharf, north Sydney pool or Luna park. The ferry can take you to circular key or darling harbor with ease.Sydney harbour bridge is walking distance and can be used to get to the city center or circular key if you are up for a bit of a walk. Very convenient hotel.

What a great spot!
Across road from train station, two stops to Circular Quay. Bridge and Luna Park at end of road.Stunning aspect of the bridge across to Opera House took me completely by surprise. Walk across bridge to the Rocks. No forecourt, small refurbished foyer. Greeted by pleasant desk clerk and fast check-in.Room 713 (twin) small-average size, clean and comfortable. Room looked onto neighboring building but to left or right you could see water. Only sound from other rooms was shower running. Train noise barely noticeable at night.Bathroom small, large shower rose, good pressure. Flat screen LG wall mounted TV hummed a bit when turned on. Didn't restock milk or coffee during stay. Usual room service and healthy options (hardly any vegetarian options).In addition to hotel restaurant, there's a coffee shop next door and convenience shop a few hundred metres down road. Pleasantly surprised and I'll stay again.
