Relaxing beach resort
I booked this hotel based on the 3 for the price of 2 night special, in the Tropical wing. It's more than I usually pay for a hotel room in Bali ($176 per night on special) but I'm glad I did. I've never stayed in an international beach resort before, as I feel they are distant from the heart of Bali. However, I needed a good rest and my husband loves the beach, so after much research, we decided to stay at this hotel. The environment is very relaxing and the sea breezes were very pleasant. I love the open public areas and restaurants and the seaside pool is wonderful. The room we had was fantastic - it felt luxurious but simple without being over the top. The breakfast buffet was great, but I was a bit disappointed with the lack of Balinese food on the menu, which had limited vegetarian options and was very oriented to a wheat based western diet. Go to Bali Bumbu if you want to experience authentic balinese cuisine. You can swim in the sea immediately in front if the hotel, but like many beaches in Bali, the water is polluted with rubbish, so i stuck to the pool. This hotel is highly recommended if you want a restful holiday and don't feel the need to necessarily experience Balinese culture.

There's always a comfort in a price
I choose Novotel Bali Benoa for my family vacation in Bali since we always want our kids to be comfortable for their vacation, and when we arrive in Novotel Bali Benoa, my kids instantly love it!. The room was big, our room very close to the pool, so the kids can swin everyday, 4 kind of pools to be swim off! There's a kid club near the uluwatu restaurant, where we can enjoy our breakfast with the beach view, we can walk through the beach after, a private beach, beautiful garden along the hotel walk, great staff, very friendly and helpfull, will go back again definitely...

Great family suite
Have just stayed here for 5 nights in a family suite on the beach side. Would recommend these rooms, with 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms a lounge area and private courtyard with outside shower. Food was always lovely as we're the cocktails and icecreams on the beach. The staff were always lovely ( Especially Gede always smiling and great service). The gym was well equipped and clean. The theme dinners were great. There are some lovely little restaurants all up the street and watersports in front of hotel. Use the little local laundries so much cheaper! Would stay here again.

A true paradise on earth located at Novotel Bali Benoa
The Novotel Bali Benoa is a 4.5 star resort located right on the golden sands of Tanjung Benoa beach. It has 187 beautiful rooms and villas, each with a beautiful unique coconut wood interior design. Our room was located in the garden wing, separated from the beach by a road. It had a contemporary Balinese style and its own little tropical garden and seating area where you we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. Our spacious room was always very clean and really comfortable like our own retreat we could enjoy after a long day of visiting. Unfortunately, at first it was not so quiet due to the proximity to one of the pools with a bar and extremely noisy neighbours. Once the family was gone and after the bar was closed (around 7PM), it was perfect.The room was also fitted with a shower, a smoke alarm, a Safe deposit box, a Minibar, Satellite Flat Screen colour TV, Security peephole, 220/240 Volt, Air Conditioning and Wi-Fi in your room for a fee of free in the Main Lobby. This Novotel has a unique Balinese atmosphere throughout its premises ponctuated by water fountains decorated with flowers and animals. You can also enjoy the fragrant flowers early in the morning that are dropped on the ground everywhere by the employees. I enjoyed so much the attention to such details... The English speaking staff was always warm, welcoming and helpful.The hotel also offers 3 restaurants and bars, 3 swimming pools, golfing facilities, a tennis court, and fitness centre, spa treatments either at the beachfront or in spa. It also has a temple if you are religious / spiritual and would like to pray. Don't forget to wear a sarong around your waiste.We enjoyed a few times breakfast (room service), lunch on the beach or at one of the many bars and a romantic dinner on the beach. We also walked in the nearby town that offered all sorts of delicious meals (inexpensive as well) such as Babi guling (a roast suckling pig), Lawar (a Balinese salad), sudang lepet (Salted dry fish) and many other local dish. There are also very americanized restaurants. You have lots to chose from. Most restaurants also offer live dance and music shows on certain evenings - not to be missed. While staying at the Novotel Bali Benoa, we also decided to do our Open Water PADI Certification and were able to go scuba diving in a WWII Ship Wreck and different areas. It was a dream come true!We strongly recommend this amazing hotel to business people, couples on a romantic getaway, families or anybody traveling solo. This is by far one of the most luxurious hotel I have been staying at where the service was always prompt and courteous, had so many amenities, and it made my spectacular stay unforgettable.Bali is truly the Island of the Gods and Novotel Bali Benoa is definitely where to be.

Friendly, helpful staff.
This was my first visit to Bali, and after spending five wonderful days in a magnificent hotel in Ubud, we arrived mid afternoon to Novotel. We were greeted by friendly staff, seated, given the cool cloth and drink to refresh oneself. What a delightful custom this is, perhaps we in our everyday lives could adopt some of the Balinese ways. We were taken to our room which although a little dated, was more than adequate to meet our needs. The only slight imperfection was it smelled strongly of cigarettes, we rang reception and within 10 mins were re housed is a fresher smelling room. A large balcony with an extremely useful clothes airer was a bonus. We stayed on the garden side and were more than happy with the staff and facilities, particularly the bar pool area, comfortable furniture either in the sun or under cover made this a very pleasant area to visit. The breakfast was superb and again the staff friendly and helpful. It happened to be my birthday whilst I was there, and when we arrived back at the room after dinner, I was delighted to find a beautiful birthday cake. I was very touched.. This and all the other thoughtful things, such as the water taps in the corridors the cleanliness and the way the staff remembered the way you like your coffee, enhanced my first visit to Bali. Oh, almost forgot, the Balinese banquet and traditional dance on our last night were just the finishing touch to a wonderful holiday.
