Hang out here, but stay somewhere else

Hooters casino is pretty sweet. $5 blackjack will keep you busy for hours and get you drunk as well. The 2 casino bars are pretty cool for video poker. I'm still mad I didn't get any wings. The dealers at night are pretty hot, too. The rooms are ok. Not as crappy as I expected, but for $30/night, go to the Flamingo or Harrahs. Skip the Quad, the Riviera, the Strat, and Circus Circus. If you are set on a cheap room, go Hooters or Flamingo. There are also tons of working girls next door at the Tropicana.

Cheap and cheerful no frills

Stayed three nights for $55 per night. Rooms clean and reasonable size. No fridge or wifi but what do you expect for that price. Nice pool area and bars. Food hit and miss but can't grumble with the price we paid

I stayed here in 2008 during my first visit to Vegas and had no idea about the hotels there or where to stay. This hotel was recently renovated and looked amazing in pictures and price was damn cheap so booked it. We were a group of 7 friends and after our trip there....none of us regretted staying here. This hotel was worth every penny. They were one of the cheapest and the primary reason must have been brand, smaller comparatively to other humongous hotels and not on the strip. The room was had a great pool view. Very clean and welcoming. Staff was very friendly. One of my friends mistakenly locked the safe and forgot the code, though the hotel policy was $50 charge they didn't even charge a single penny and were friendly. Casino in the hotel was not that crowded and pack like other big casinos but had almost most of the tables, games you find in other casinos. It was adjacent to Tropicana casino so you can tell that the location was not the best.

Another Great Visit at Hooters LV

My husband and I have stayed at Hooters 6 times; our most recent visit was May 4-8. The first thing we noticed is that the front lobby bar is gone; a bit disappointing since that is where we spent a lot time playing video poker.We arrived before noon not expecting to get into our room, but it was ready; a very spacious, clean king room with a nice view of the strip. The AC and shower/plumbing worked great. Each day when we returned to our room it looked like we had just checked in; very clean and tidy.This is a great choice if you just need a place to sleep and shower; it's a great location for a great price. We've found the service at the desk, restaurants and bars to be very friendly.

Stay anywhere but Hooters

I reserved a 'beach bungalow' with a special request of ground floor room because my partner had just had neck surgery. The special request was ignored, we were given a room on the second floor - a beach bungalow implies a room on the beach. Well as everyone knows Las Vegas is a lot of beach but no ocean. The room did overlook the pool area. One bulb in the bathroom was blown out, the shower nozzle was clogged but the connection to the pipe spouted ice cold water and had to be covered with a wash cloth, no tub mat for inside the tub which is a safety hazard, room reserved for two and only two towels were provided - had to call for more, closet doors were broken, had a Keurig coffee maker with two coffee pods, one packet of creamer, one sugar and one low cal sweetener, AC unit worked great around midnite but not so well during the day. During checkout the woman at the counter wasn't interested in hearing about our stay and said we could post a comment on the Hooters website. So not worth the price. While walking through the casino to get to our room there were 3 security guards standing in the middle of the walkway causing us to have to divert from the walkway onto the carpeted area and when I commented about standing in the middle of the floor one of the female guards rudely commented about not standing in the middle of the walkway. They were also talking about an incident that I believe should not have been discussed in a public setting. We ordered room service and the tray that we left outside the door wasn't picked up until late afternoon. This place was worse than a dive.
