Great place for families
Enjoyed the amenities. Great place for families to get together. The swimming pools were well kept. Very friendly and courteous staff. Room security was good. Clean units. Tennis court, putt putt mini golf, play areas for young children.. Underground car park. Handy location for beaches, shopping, theme parks, casino and Draculas. Bus outside resort, beach within walking distance. A restful place for a get away if one chooses to stay within the resort.

Excellent facility
Great for kids, heaps of activities, functional rooms. Basic food takeaway shops in walking distance. Coles and Woolworths a short drive away at Broadbeach/Pacific Fair.Secure parking under complex. No lift facilities to get to your room/ floor.

Excellent for families
Always a good place to stay, reasonably priced for the double bedroom. Pool areas are nice, if you want a game of tennis its really cheap. The wood fired pizza's are quite nice even if a tad expensive. It's close to a supermarket, and across the road from a number of cheap take aways. It's about 1/2 hour from movie world which isn't that bad.

The Resort is out of the happening hub zone (night life, Restaurants) on the Goldy, its at Mermaid Beach. The Resort what i can i say is huge, its kinda two resorts Turtle Beach Resort 1 and Resort 2. The Room was a full featured apartment with 2 bedrooms, ensuite and seperate bathroom and seperate toilet, Full kitchen facilities and Laundry area and 2 balconies. The Room was on level 3, It featured a huge LCD tv with out the Foxtel only Digital TV, its also had a DVD player and Mini Hifi system. Air cond was in the front of the apartment in the living area and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. All i could pick from the room was bad ventilation in the seperate Toilet it gets quite humid in the toilet and the bathroom has bad ventilation when the dryer is on, the was also a minor leakage of water from the Washing machine which wet the floor. Resort features 3 salt pool areas 1 adult only pool which was nice, a few nice spas, a Waterslide that is 1 story tall but still enjoyable, 18 hole putt putt course dotted around the resort, tennis court and 2 arcade game areas in the car park. The pizza from the wood fired pizza place onsite was great the onsite conveince store is quite well stocked with all sorts of foods. Whilst I was up there it was when Cyclone Osward hit the Goldy, what i can tell you about avoiding getting wet at this resort, use the underground carpark as you walking path until you have to exit to get to the front area where the taxis are, also there is no underground connection between resort 1 and resort 2 so you will have to surface and go inbetween two buildings that are not undercover. Note to resort please at least put a under cover walking path between resort 1 and resort 2 near the area at the front of the resort . Whilst up there the electricity went out in the complex for the whole day 11am - 7pm allot of the electronic locks were no good in a blackout, the room locks remained on battery power. nothing in the complex worked during the blackout the pools were shutdown, the car park garage was opened manually, the traffic lights outside were flashing amber it was a scene from end of the world. Anyway forgetting all that I enjoyed and I think my family enjoyed staying at the resort. Taxis are more conv. than the public bus going south as you have to walk 1km around the fence on the Gold Coast Hwy, going north the bus stop is right outside the resort, it also made getting to NightOwl, Subway and the Ice creamery on the other side a very long process. There is the Mandarin Court Chinese Restaurant next door and a Spar Supermarket, Newsagent, cheese cake shop, bakery and fish and chips next door, but you have to travel to broad beach for nightlife and dining.

Great family get away
Great resort for the family. Rooms were great sizes, we stayed in 2 bed apartment. Plenty to keep the kids happy including numerous pools. The kids especially enjoyed the water slide. On site convenience store is very handy. The kids enjoyed kids club. Would recommend.
