Great location
We stayed here for 5 nights and found the location itself very good especially for access to Pyrmont/ Darling Harbour and obviously to the CBDOur apartment had a great view of the Darling Harbour which was wonderful to watch day or night. The apartment was clean and serviced daily. We noted the new kitchen area and bedsThe Reception staff were friendly and helpful - Steve was great with assisting us with our luggage for check in / out via the entrance staIrs which we really appreciated as we were traveling by car with limited parking on the street.The only draw back for us was the noise especially on friday& saturday nights from the pub across the road( have management considered double glazing ?)

Good location
I came to Sydney for business and the Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, was the center of action. Metro Apartments is only 10 minutes walk to the Convention Centre and reasonably priced. I have to say that has some issues that, unfortunately, can't be fixed but the traveler needs to be aware. Is located right on the corner and taxis can't stop to drop or pick up you there and there is a steep stairs that could be inconvenient for some elderly people. This is mentioned on theirs website. The rooms are okay, reasonably clean but don't expect a flashy hotel room. Inside my wardrobe, on the top shelf, an exposed air duct occupied half of the shelf... not a nice sight and would be a blessing if the entire place has a face lift. Staff at Reception ? Some better than others... room for improvement. Overall, is just okay and very good location.

Return visit just as good!
Only 4 months between visits this time but still a great location and reasonably priced place to stay in Sydney. We used the" thank you for staying with us discount" offer you get when you complete a customer survey to book this accommodation and it made for a cheapish one night stay. We were upgraded to a "harbour view" room on arrival-considering all rooms get a view of the harbour I'm not sure what the upgrade means exactly but 4th floor was a good location to get great views even compared to 7th floor last visit. The apartment layout was identical to the previous visit but it appeared to have been recently refurbished and painted. Used the washer and dryer in the partment but discovered the washer spin cycle chosen didn't get our clothes as wrung out as we needed to get then adequately dry in the time we had available for using the dryer.Really great to be able to use the foyer internet facility for free. Reception staff very helpful and cheerful. Took home a souvenir stress ball offering from the front desk!

A good family base for Sydney City exploring
We as a family of 4 wanted an affordable location close to the city - we got a great deal at Metro Darling Harbour.The steps entering could be a problem for older/less able travellers, but we managed fine, and enjoyed the close proximity to Darling Harbour and public transport. Overall pretty good value for money and front desk staff very helpful and nice.

front desk people were OK, but the hotel never gave me the reply
After sitting the seat of the airplane going back to Japan, I realized that I might have left my iPod in the hotel room. So right after I arrived in Japan, I sent email to the hotel to check my room if there was the iPod. I expected the reply that they found it or not. But I have never received the reply for more than one month, as of today.
