Seven nights well spent!
I stayed here for 7 nights with my family, and sadly we happened to arrive just a couple of days before the dreadful Cyclone Evan struck Fiji. We were picked up promptly from the airport and In no time arrived back to the hotel, which is extremely close to the airport. Upon arriving to the hotel we were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to our rooms. The rooms were in great condition, a clean well-made double bed, complimentary tea/coffee, flat screen TV and a fridge/freezer. Each room had its own balcony, and the view didnt fail to deliver! We had a great picturesque view of the swimming pool, sea and smugglers cove (our rooms were on the second floor). Our bags were brought up to us by the receptionist/driver (who is great and does so much!). The A/C's were working well, which you sure do need at that time of year! For the first few days everything was great, breakfast was delicious and the owner and his wife were keen to give us tourist information and advice of the best places to go. When the cyclone hit it was a travesty. You could see worry in the eyes of the owner and his wife as their livelihood was literally being destroyed before their very eyes. All the beautiful plants they had potted, their solar panels, glass from the window panes were all destroyed, yet they still maintained their professionalism and tried their utmost to cater to our needs. This brought all the guests together, and (not to sound cheesy), there was a genuine sense of community feeling being shared by us all as we became closer. We couldn't do much except stay indoors, so the staff provided us with dinner and lunch for an extra $10 (to cover their expenses). The food they served up was fijian cuisine,cooked by the owners wife, and it was a great eat! After the cyclone it took a good few days to recover, so we had no water or electricity in the mean time. However as soon as the power returned to the area, service resumed as normal. Its a shame that our trip was disrupted so badly, yet the hospitatility we received from Jetset Accomodation was more than exceptional. The friendliness of the staff during such tough times will never be forgotten.

Very nice place, friendly and helpful people
I was stuck for a few days in this accomodation during cyclone Evan in Dec 2012 and there was not one moment that I felt uncomfortable or not save. The people did whatever they could, to make the stay as nice as possible under this circumstances. They were all very friendly and helpful and it felt like belonging to a family.

Don't stay here
Please please whatever you do, DO NOT stay here, it is filthy, smelly, and within 500 metres of the runway!! breakfast is....... Two slices of toast with a horrible greasy omelette, and only one cup of tea! The pictures on the website must photo shopped as it certainly does not look like it now! Disgusting!!!!!!!!!'

Unless your on a tight budget do ya self a favour - stay somewhere else!!
Terrible!!My fault - thought I'd be clever (or is it tight!!) and stay somewhere close to airport for our first night in Fiji as our plane didn't get in till late in the evening. Ok, where to begin. First off all we got collected from the airport by a decent enough "taxi" driver and taken to our hotel. I use the word "taxi" with tounge in cheek as it was in fact a 4x4 ute which looked like it had done 20 hard years working on the farm, both inside and out!!Hotel was terrible, strong stench of urine in room, huge massive cockroach the size of which I've never seen before!! No light switch for bathroom which probably explained the strong smell of urine as people probably missed the toilet!?Views of pool? Erm, no!! Views of huge skip bin, building site and a dried up pool. Honestly, unless your on a real tight budget or your like me and sometimes think you can grab the odd bargain here n there then please don't stay here - its almost under the flight path of the runway, you can't go anywhere as its miles from anything and hardly safe to wander around especially at dark and for an extra $20 odd bucks you'd get a much better nights sleep somewhere else.

Could be turned around
We booked here about 2-3mths before arriving in Fiji. 10 days before book in we called to make sure everything was ok. They couldnt find our booking at 1st, but finally did and gave us a tour of the place. It seemed too good to be true. When we returned 10 days later, they couldnt find our booking at all. After waiting a while they took us up to a room. The room hadnt been open for weeks............it stank of must. We opened all doors and windows and after a while it was habitable. But no hot water jug, the sugar had all gone to liquid and the coffee was caked hard. We had to ask for towels and a sheet. After that was all sorted I went down to see what was on the menu for dinner, to be greeted with....no cook!!Just as well we had a car so we could go into town and get something to eat. Turned out there was no cook all week, but we were never told, just learned as we went. After dinner went to watch TV only to find no adaptor plug. 1/2 later they returned with 1. when we went down to breakfast next morning we were served egg on toast, not the choice we were told we could pick from the menu. We had egg on toast every morning, but it filled the spot and was well presented. We had hot water 2 days out of 6, and the towels were never changed. This is a lovely place but I think management need to attend a management school, as I think the place has great potential. Also having someone available that can speak english would be a help
