Safe Landing
After a long flight, a long queue at LAX, followed by a bad experience at Immigration, the Radisson staff were the kindest and most helpful I have ever met. My room was not ready due to an early arrival, but Dwyane the kind hearted Bell Hop could not do enough to make me comfortable including calling Hilton to ensure My WiFi was reconnected when I lost reception in the Lobby. The cafe staff were welcoming and friendly as were the restaurant people. Rooms large and comfortable but the friendly welcome and continuing care for the 3 day stay were outstanding. Stay here, particularly if travelling solo. Brilliant.

Is this the best LAX has to offer?
I had high expectations as Radisson in the UK has a great reputation. Room smelt damp and was very 'tired'. Although I'm Club Carlson no offer of included amenities or upgrade. I shall not return. When checking out I wasn't asked if my stay met their 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.

Such an Upset....
My boyfriend and I travel to Los Angeles very frequently! We love it there, when we go to LA its like a whole different world for us, and we treat it as a home away from home. We both work for Prism Hotels (whom the Radisson LAX is owned by) and our GM told us that we could get a good deal being employees so we decided to stay here. We were a little iffy about staying near the airport but we decided we would give this hotel a shot since the photos on the website seemed like a nice place. Since we were employees of the same company they upgraded us to a suite! When we checked in the front desk agent seemed annoyed and like she defeniely wasent happy with her job! Its the hospitality industry.. We play make believe for a living, at least pretend like your happy. We got into our "suite" and were greeted with dirty sheets on the bed, stains in the toliet and bath tub, and a celling that looked like it was about to crumble on us. It was so late at night and we were so tired that we decided it wasent even worth saying anything at 1am.. When we woke up the first thing we tired to do was find another hotel and they were all booked!! That was a nightmare for us. We were afarid to even get under the covers... The room size was big but there was dust everywhere and a smell of urine in the hall ways.. I was so upset and disapointed with this.. it really made our stay in LA not as enjoyable and this was a big disapointment...We contacted the company and still havent heard back... I really hope that you see this review as constructive crisitism and please turn this resort around! You are in a great location and have a wonderful lobby. If the suites were unkept I could only imagine the guest rooms.... I would really apperciate hearing back from someone.. especailly since we work for the same company.. Thank you..

Perfectly acceptable as an overnight hotel
We chose this hotel as the closest to the airport, and after an 11 hour flight, a 10 minute walk got us to the hotel, I suspect we'd have waited twice as long for a shuttle. Check in was prompt and courteous, and we had a room on the 9th floor. The rooms are well worn but everything worked and for a one day stay before setting out on our holiday, it was absolutely fine. We ate in the bar area, which although a little basic, gave us decent food quickly. All staff members we came across were extremely friendly and helpful, the express checkout saved time, and for a an overnight 'transit' hotel it met our needs. We didn't see or use any of the pool or other facilities so can't comment. An airport hotel is never going to be a destination in itself, so for location and basic comfort the Radisson was perfectly acceptable. Free wifi too.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
Upon arriving to the hotel from the airport at midnight, the extremely rude and unhelpful employee (sonny) scoffed because we had used priceline for the reservation. They then tried to make us pay for new reservations and tried to say priceline resold our reservation and it was our fault. Not sure why we would pay twice for a room, also by this time we will only be getting 4 hours of sleep and the only thing were hearing from the radisson is terrible excuses and that figuring this out is too much work for sonny to do. Glad we could low on sleep for our day on the town in los Angeles, STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE AND NO SLEEP!
