Great location!
What can you expect with hotels in Singapore, if you want the woww facilities you can stay at Marina Bay Sands. Pay what you get suit for Fragrance Hotel Selegie, few minutes walk to MRT station and about 10 minutes walk you will arrive Bugis. Room is standard and tiny size with a very tiny bathroom. The only point that worth to stay is the location!

Friendly Staff..
My original reservation was in Fragrance Elegance 14-05-10. When i came there.. i was welcomed by a friendly and smiling frontdesk. ( Sheela is the name if i'm not mistaken ) She told me that my reservation is confirmed however the hotel is experiencing some maintainance so she will transfer me to their nice branch( fragrance selegie). When she registered my passport i was not feel boring while waiting the taxi because we had nice conversation. She even leave her counter just to assist me with my luggage thru the taxi. Shes been very nice to me.Upon arriving at fragrance hotel selegie the frontdesk was very helpful.. ( i forgot their names ) I was given free early check in that time..Hotel nearly located to mrt station and walking distance to the mall area. Rooms so small even the toilet but WHO CARES??The important is the GOOD SERVICE they provide during my short stay in the hotel. THATS THE BEST THING FOR ME..

Small rooms but comfortable place..near in bugis, a walking distance where u can buy souvenirs and stuff...the staffs are friendly and hospitable....you can eat less expensive food near the hotel..........

Very happy with this hotel
When we got to the hotel, the staff were all smiles. We were treated very politely. We asked for early check in and for $30 they were happy too. (We were there at roughly 10am)We had then gone to the room and as others have said, yes it's a basic small room, but if you are there just to sleep and shower, who cares.Later that day when we were in the lobby talking to the tour lady "Joanne" who is extremely nice and extremely helpful, the hotel lady advised as they knew it was our honeymoon, they will upgrade us free of charge to their executive room. Extremely happy they did this as the room is a lot bigger and certainly made our day.The staff are all very friendly as we have asked for extra towels and blankets with no issue.Rooms serviced daily of the morning.The breakfast is nice and staff at the "good news cafe" do a great job.The hotel is very well located with bus stop out the front and the MRT a few minutes walk. 7/11 next door as well.The only issue is the walls are not very thick so you can hear people next door and in the hallway, but not a big issue.Internet is fast at $10 per 24hr and you can have 3 devices connected. (Was using Skype)I would certainly recommend this hotel but certainly note that room space is limited.

Budget Hotel Only If You're Small and Alone
My mother and I stayed for 3 nights at superior room. I have the same reviews as most of the other travellers staying here. The hotel room is small. If you're small and alone, I don't think it's a big problem. If you're big, your legs will be hanging or even touching the wall. The edge of the bed is about 12cm to the wall. If you're two, I think you should consider staying at other hotels, unless you don't mind being squeezed. I'm not sure whether or not the other room types above superior have more space.The bathroom is terribly small. I think it's less than 2sqm. We can't put our clothes inside bathroom. If you do, you'll get your clothes wet. When I washed my legs, I wore a shower cap and switched the shower at low volume; otherwise I'd have been all wet. Soap, shower cap, toothbrush and towel are provided, but no toothpaste. Shampoo isn't provided, but probably it's 2in1 soap.The room, bed and bathroom are clean. The hotel staff including housekeeping staff are also friendly, polite and helpful. I had problem to open the toothpaste I bought at 7-eleven next to the hotel as I don't have scissors or knife, and one of the receptionists helped me pleasantly.The breakfast is standard: noodle soup, porridge, sandwich, waffle and pancake. You can choose one of the breakfast sets. Fruit juice, tea, and coffee are also provided. If you stay more than 3 nights, I think you'll lose your appetite for breakfast due to limited options. The location is great. It takes less than 5' to reach Little India MRT station, and there's a bus stop exactly in front of the hotel. When you get out from the MRT station, go to exit A heading to Mackenzie Road.
