I stayed here twice with some friends (we had 4 rooms each time) - one night each time. The first time we stayed here 3 of the 4 rooms never received towels even though we repeatedly called the front desk. The second time, they only gave 1 room an air conditioner remote - the other 3 rooms had no remote (and no air conditioning) even though the desk said they would bring them "soon". In Fiji, it is essential to have the air conditioner running. I will not stay here again. Next time, I will return to my favorite motel which is Sandalwood Lodge in Nadi. On the good side, their small pool was nice to swim in, and the restaurant was open most of the day and evening for food.

We have been staying at the Hexagon for 8 years with a school group we take to Fiji to work at an orphanage in Suva. This is our base in Nadi will we have two days to relax and recoup at the end of our Fiji experience. The staff are so welcoming and always ensure the rooms are set up and located close to each other. The food is excellent and always on time. A particular thank you to Luisa, Meranoi and Tupou for all their help with bookings, airport transfers and meals. We will continue to bring our group to there in the future and appreciate the quality service and assistance.

This is by far the worse hotel we have ever stayed in. Firstly, we arrived in Nadi at 1:50am and they forgot to pick us up from the airport in spite of our pre-arranged transfer. We had to ask someone at the airport to call them.When a man arrived at about 3am to pick us up, he was rude and his car was filthy inside.Once we arrived at the hotel, the man at the front desk appeared quite annoyed. We were given, I'm sure, the worst room in the entire hotel.We were ascorted to our room by a friendly gentleman whom I'm sure felt sorry for us as he took our luggage to the room of horrors.First of all, I went to brush my teeth. I was silly enough to touch the back edge of the basin and get my finger covered in brown scum. Because the lighting was dim, I couldn't get a full appreciation for the level of filth in the room until the morning... Thank heavens. When we got into bed, we noticed the mattress was the cheep foam type. This was comfortable in comparison to the pillows which were made from large cubes of cut up foam. Very lumpy. It was a hot night and I'm sure the air con wasn't working as the man who showed us to our room asked if we needed the air con and took the remote. We barely slept a wink that night due to the uncomfortable bed, heat and we could hear what was happening in adjoining rooms including their alarms going off, phones ringing, conversations and even toilets flushing. In the morning I stepped out into the balcony and was treated to the view of the hotels rubbish dumping yard. All the bins and other rubbish was kept directly below our balcony. I regretted opening the door as it filled the room with the horrible smell. Meanwhile my hubby was enjoying his cold shower, courtesy of the lack of any hot water. I skipped this pleasure. We couldn't wait to get out and went to reception to ask them to confirm our transfer back to the airport to meet another transfer to the Coral Coast. They told us not to worry. The other transfer would come straight to the hotel at 11am. This didn't sound right so we insisted they double check. Thank heavens we did. The transfer company had called the hotel the night before to confirm and they'd told them we weren't staying there so our transfer had been cancelled! They had to re-schedule our pick up for 11:50am so we were stuck at the Hexagon even longer. Never ever stay here. Ever.

I would rather spend the night in a cesspit than stay here again. The place was absolutely filthy, couldn't work their booking system, had no cold water in the morning so scalding hot shower was the order of the day, sleepless night due to crappy aircon and felt like insects were crawling all over you during the night. Easily the worst ace I have ever stayed at, including my Otago university flat!

Have stayed here many times since the 90¿¿¿s (formerly called West¿¿¿s Motor Inn) and always found this establishment to be more than satisfactory for an overnight stopover or extended stay in between travelling out to the Islands.Choices of rooms from standard, deluxe, poolside deluxe, family rooms to apartments (studio style) and 2 or 3 bedroom units (with cooking/laundry facilities/microwave, toaster, hair dryer etc); air cond. fans, television, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, dd phones in all grades of rooms, clean, quiet location and a security conscious establishment. Three pools (all clean), and large bar overlooking one pool. As with most resorts, used towels are gathered up mid-morning and replenished ¿¿¿later¿¿¿ in the day. Extra towels are available, plus pool towels from the front desk if you run short. Major credit cards accepted. Prices range from approx $75 per night (standard) to approx. $120 for studio apartment, approx. $180 for 2-bedroom apartment. Discounted rates for apartments if staying one month or more. Spa services available at very reasonable costs. The conference centre is popular available and often you'll find a youth group in-house.Located on the Martintar ¿¿¿strip¿¿¿ (main Queens Road and halfway between Airport and Nadi town).Full meals or snacks are available through the day, but I don¿¿¿t normally eat here, as there are many varied restaurants and eating establishments to choose from within easy walking distance ¿¿¿ Bounty Restaurant & Bar (wide range of food offered, covered outdoor dining area, inside lounge dining, live band some nights in disco area) Tu¿¿¿s (well known for their fish¿¿¿n¿¿¿chips) Taste of Fiji (excellent gourmet cuisine style), Sitar (Indian) Nadi Bay Resort, Curry House, Ana¿¿¿s (great pizzas) and Mercure Hotel to name a few. Next door to Hexagon is the Jet Point plaza area ¿¿¿ RB Patel¿¿¿s large supermarket (open 7 days), with wide choice of fresh goods, groceries, hardware, alcohol, water, soft drinks available. Handy for stocking up on supplies before heading out to the Islands. ATM (ANZ) outside supermarket entrance. Prices (local) are very reasonable and much cheaper than at Port Denarau or the Island resorts. Hot Bread shop, clothes outlets, pharmacy, nightclub also in the same plaza area. Bus stops outside Hexagon main gate ¿¿¿ travel for either direction. Local taxis available from Hotel or just hail one outside main gates. Shuttle is available to/from airport but at times they may have to be ¿¿¿reminded¿¿¿! Extra luggage in a secure locked room, is able to be left at Hexagon if travelling to other places, then returning. No charge. Free hotel parking. A tour desk is available for organizing outside activities or excursions to virtually anywhere. Computer station alcove operates 24 hours ¿¿¿ but am unsure of the costs and think via pre-paid connection. Wifi access is available at a cost, although I¿¿¿ve never seen anyone using this facility. I find the internet shop just past Bounty for $2.50 per hour, suits me fine.Very friendly and willing to help staff ¿¿¿ Hexagon has a good team of Mere, Rakesh, Murray & Tupou at the front desk (open 24 hours) and Billy is in charge of the bar ¿¿¿ you definitely won¿¿¿t go thirsty! Obviously the staff are all very happy with their employment and roles, as each time I visit I don¿¿¿t generally see many ¿¿¿new faces¿¿¿. Another plus is that if sending communications to Hexagon (Nadi) via email ¿¿¿ their reply is prompt and you¿¿¿re never left wondering ¿¿¿did they get it¿¿¿! Will I return ¿¿¿ I always do.
