Paradise on Earth
My husband and I went there for our honeymoon. It was incredible. We stayed in an overwater bungalow (Diamond). Upon arrival, they welcomed us with flowers and gave us a tour of the hotel, very beneficial. We were also informed that all the bungalows are the same on the inside, only the view that is different. I have to say that the bungalows are absolutely gorgeous overlooking a most beautiful lagoon and the incredible iconic mountain. The food was exquisite in both restaurants, the staff always friendly and at times very entertaining. The buffets aren't to be missed, esp. the Japanese one. In the afternoon, they feed the rays right off the beach and have really good snorkeling on the premises. The surprise for us was the gym. We loved it and used it in between meals and sun bathing. Our grattitude to everyone at Thalasso for making our stay unforgettible and to Costco travel for making this possible. We will be back!

This was 1 week stay at the IC Bora Bora and thalasso spa. Beautiful property. Food was excellent. Choosing what to pick from the buffets was our most difficult decision that week. Service very good. Stayed in overwater Diamond Suite. If you have a stay longer than 2 or 3 days and wish a one level upgrade for your room just join the Ambassador club for $200 annual fee. This gives you late checkout till 4 pm if you have a late flight the day of departure. we arrived 0800 the first day and they gave us a dayroom to freshen up and change. Our room was ready at 2 pm.

VOW RENEWAL IN HEAVEN
My husband and I spent 8 unforgettable days here (May 4 - May 11, 2013) and let me tell you right away this was supposed to be a "once in a lifetime" trip BUT we are going back in May of 2014!The beauty of this resort is almost indescribable, everything is picture perfect! The green of the trees, bushes, and plants is so much greener then anything I have ever seen before. The smell of the tiare flower also known as the Tahitian gardenia lingers in the air wherever you go. The color of the water will leave you breathless, so many shades of heavenly blue.This was our 20th wedding anniversary trip and we renewed our vows in the Blue Lagoon Chapel - again incredibly beautiful! Right away I have to mention the outstanding help of Ms. Margaux B., concierge, I could not have done all this planning without her help! Small emergency the night before our ceremony. My husband's shirt had a stain so I called Ms. Margaux and asked for help. She came by our bungalow right away, picked up his shirt drove it to housekeeping and personally delivered it back to our room late the same night. Ms. Margaux is an amazing person and the resort is so lucky to have her and I hope we will see her again next year. Simply outstanding!Our OWB #218 was also picture perfect and the housekeeping ladies must have been little fairies. We hardly ever saw them, but every single time we returned from breakfast, lunch or dinner the house was fresh and clean. My favorite part was that they left little flowers on my washcloths and towels in the bathroom every time.The restaurants were fantastic and the entire staff was amazing and sweet and we miss each and every one of you! After only a day they welcomed us by our name and it just made us feel so welcome.The polynesian show was so much fun. Also every day there was an activity at noon on the beach, not to forget the free water sport activities, just awesome.Last, you are at the BORA BORA RESORT & THALASSO SPA , do not complain about prices, if you want cheap go somewhere else. We truly hope this resort will stay prestige and exclusive!Mauruuru, Nadja & Jai <3

Unparalleled Stay!
First time in Bora Bora and I have to say that staying at the IC Thalasso has made me want to return....well, I didn't want to leave in the first place. This hotel is spectacular. From the welcome at the reception area (juice, cool washcloths, tour of the facility in the golf cart), super large and well-equipped villas, superior lagoon location (calm shallow waters), excellent service everywhere (restaurants, pool, bar), delicious breakfast buffet, afternoon ice cream by the pool, ray feeding everyday at 2, live music in the Bubbles Lounge, and overall friendly staff (yes, every single one of them), it was an experience I will never forget. Everything about this hotel is top notch and no detail goes unnoticed. Wait staff and concierge remembered our names and our preferences. Our ferry to the airport was late in the day so we had to check out. Couldn't get late check out b/c the hotel was fully booked but they pre-booked us in a day room so we could enjoy the pool and ocean all day and then shower and clean up before leaving. They have thought of everything! But I'll warn you, a stay in Bora Bora is very expensive and this place is no different. $25 USD for a drink is pretty hefty but is close to the average for this island. Save your pennies and do your trip right by staying here and getting the experience of a lifetime. I will be back....as soon as I can.

Excellent Hotel in Bora Bora
We just got back from the most amazing honeymoon in Bora Bora and Moorea! We booked through Tahiti Travel Planners (thanks Samantha!) and definitely recommend their services for advice on restaurants and taking care of any interisland transfers you may have. They made all of that stuff easy. The IC in BB was incredibly nice. When we arrived on the dock, we were taken in a golf cart to the lobby and served fresh juice while we got checked in. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and quiet. The pool boys did demonstrations at noon that were fun and handed out ice cream in the afternoon - they were all very friendly and even made hats for my wife and I out of tree branches right there. The food at the hotel was great, we really enjoyed having a big buffet breakfast each morning with fresh pineapple and crepes! Great hotel and great service, hope to come back some day!
