Just booked our stay at the Kantary Bay for 2014 It will be our 8th stay and we treat the hotel as our second home for us this hotel ticks all the boxes. We stay in a 1 bedroom apartment which has self catering faclities the staff go out of thier way to make you feel at home 10 out of 10 to all of them we can't wait to return to see our extended family again

We took our 4 year old grandson for the first time to Phuket, was worried about the distance travelling but as soon as we checked in he was at home straight away with a great reception from the Staff. Welcome drink on arrival with a nice cool towel, a couple of the reception staff showed us to our Studio room which had fantastic views of the gardens and sea view. There are plenty of local restaurants to choose from but our favourite was Sea breeze which feels homely and great food. During the day our choice was the rooftop pool which has some of the best views I have ever seen. Special thanks to Ning and boosong in the reservation office at Kantary who made a big fuss of Cody, he just loved going to their office and getting the sweets. It's a holiday he will never forget!He says a big hello to all the staff. See you all next year. :-)

Firstly, if you are looking for a quiet corner of Phuket with great sea views, then you are looking in the right place .After such a long journey, it would be only appropriate to mention our accommodation first! We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and were thrilled to find a working kitchen, comfortable sitting room, but most importantly, a huge double bed. We slept better in this bed than any we have had on other holidays. Even the bed linen was beautiful.The surprise bonus was a large balcony with swing seat ,table and chairs,washing machine and fabulous sunset scenes over the bay (white Buddha clearly visible on distant hilltop) .Throughout our stay the housekeeping was outstanding in all areas of the hotel.The breakfast was fairly standard for this sort of hotel, but the waiters were always attentive with the essential coffee pot!Previous comments have suggested large coach loads of Chinese visitors. This certainly happened on a nearly daily basis, but had no impact on the facilities as they were all on trips by the end of breakfast!If you love gardens then you will love this place . There isn't a single horizontal or vertical surface that isn't brimming with plants, even the trunks of palms are dripping with orchids and ferns. The gardeners are inspirational.There are two pools at Kantary, however, I recommend taking the shuttle bus to the sister hotel to sit in their dappled shade during the hottest hours, enjoy their beautiful beach, before returning over the hill for a sundowner and evening meal Kantaryside. (Opposite aspects). However,I think that it shoul be remembered that this sharing is not reciprocal and that Cape Panwa guests are paying 5 star prices, so a little sensitivity would be a good thing.We have stayed in both hotels and infinitely prefer Kantary Bay. The staff are more personable and a mutual affection is not uncommon between long standing guests and employees.If I could make a suggestion, I think that it does lack an evening gathering place and I can't think of anywhere better to enjoy the sunset over the bay with a cold beer and some company than the rooftop pool. Please give it some thought.We had a wonderful holiday and look forward to returning again soon.

Just back from another great stay, once again the staff were fantastic and made us feel like family. We are already planning our next trip? The weather was great as usual special thanks to the front desk staff and managers who were all absolutely fantastic.

On arrival we were met with a cocktail and most pleasant lady off reception.The staff were most help full throughout our stay. After 3 days in bangkok this wasa place where it was totally chilled out and peaceful, we had a sea and pool view which was delightful. The shuttle bus to sister hotel was good and the lads that drove them were lovely always smiling. Its a stunning place and we didnt want to leave.
