Best hotel experience so fare,
Loved this hotel!!Easy to get to by bus, with bus stops directly outside! Were greeted by a tall gentleman on the front desk, who could possibly be the most helpful person ever. He gave us a map and circled all the main attractions and told us about them. He told us the easiest ways to get into the city and was very pleasant. Excellent as we didn't have a great plan when we arrived.Great breakfast room and selection.Bed was comfortable and bathroom was lovely. Such a nice place to come back to after a long day out.If I had to have a negative, it would be that the water temperature isn't consistent and changes a bit, but really didn't bother us.Would love to stay again!

Convenient and Quiet
The hotel is only five minutes by taxi to/from the airport. There is also a bus stop only steps away in order to go to the center of Florence, approximately a 15 - 20 minute ride. The hotel will sell you the bus tickets. There are several restaurants in the area. However, if you are there on a Sunday, be aware that most restaurants close after 3 pm (such as the pizza place across the street). In addition, there is a grocery store only a block away but that too will be closed later on Sat and all day Sunday. We were there on a Sunday so we took the bus to the center and had a late afternoon meal. The hotel does provide a buffet breakfast but breakfast begins at 7 am. We had a flight that departed at that time and asked if they had any food available, such as a basket or fruit for early departures. They apparently have a caterer bring the food for breakfast so there is no breakfast available if you have an early departure. The hotel was very clean, very comfortable beds and sound proof.

Good hotel, great price
We stayed here overnight because of a 6:30am flight. Very reasonable price $112 on Expedia plus 4 euros a person city tax when we checked out. Clean, large, comfortable and very quiet rooms. We were on the 4 th floor with glass windows on two sides of the room- sound proof when closed. The glass door between the bathroom and bedroom let the light into the bedroom when one person is using the bathroom -so not good if someone else is still in bed sleeping. Helpful staff at reception. We got complimentary Wifi -usually a charge- maybe because we weren't going to have breakfast. Good location for walking to a couple of restaurants including Pizza Man which we enjoyed. Also went to the supermarket across the street -The taxi to the airport cost 21 Euros because there is a 6 Euro surcharge for the 5am pick up when the Firenze airport opens -quite a small airport and the check in and security were fast - perhaps we could have slept an extra 30 minutes. Would stay at the Cosmopolitan again.

Great experience
Stayed here one night and really enjoyed this hotel. I needed something close to the airport but also easy access to the center of Florence. The staff were super friendly and very helfpul. The rooms were clean & modern, very comfortable. The breakfast is also very good with nice selection. There is a bus (several to choose from) just steps outside the hotel that will take you near the Florence central bus station. Ride was 10-15 min but during rush hour 35min. The hotel sells tickets for the bus (only ¿¿¿1,30 one-way) The only restaurant nearby is a pizzeria (strangely called Pizza Man) but do not fear, this place is amazing! The staff are also friendly, quick service and the pizza is not only inexpensive but delicious too! It was packed with locals when I was there, which is always a good sign. There are several grocery stores nearby if you want other food choices (or in my case bottled water) I noticed a really good deli at one of the them. The parking lot is small and it's a busy street so beware if you are driving. Will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Florence.

My wife really wanted to go to Italy, so we went, our stay lasted about 7 days, friendly staff speak good English, low price and we got our room even though we chose the cheapest fare was very nice and cozy certainly clean, close to the center city, great place I am delighted
