What a fantastic weekend
What a fantatstic weekend from the moment we pulled up to valet parking to the moment our car was returned to the front of the hotel.From the doorman to concierge to reception absolute professionalism. Breakfast in the Terrace Bar on both mornings was the best buffet breakfast I have ever had, and the thoughtfulness of the concierge to lend me an umbrella when I was popping out in the rain was beyond my expectations. I would recommend booking the restaurants in advance as that was my only disappointment that I couldnt get a booking anywhere. We will definitely be back.

Nice, Understated, Comfortable
A very nice hotel in the heart of the city. Meet & Greet staff are very accomodating and professional. Lovely bar downstairs to wile away afew hours in with a decent selection. Very good dining onsite but being in the heart of the city there is a plethora of other eateries available. Good housekeeping and nice atndard of rooms. I would return.

Impressive Stay
I had the opportunity to stay as we had an event in the City and thought it would be best to make a night of it.After considering the cost it would have been for me to taxi / Dial a driver going to and from the city, the price to stay in a Hotel was value for money.The staff was freindly and the service, excellent.Apart from getting stuck trying to cross the airbridge in the early hours of the morning.. my overall stay was enjoyable. Thanks guys...

Excellent service great experience
Booked a package. Excellent value for money. When we returned from a day out, there was champagne on ice with glasses and a chocolate platter to greet us. Great quality food, Immaculate rooms and great location. Worth paying a little extra for. Breakfast was awesome, a lot of different options. Would definitely stay again and recommended packages.

Simply brilliant - and FREE WiFi
Brilliant hotel, stands amongst some of the best hotels I've stayed at around the world. The staff are friendly and relaxed, but still professional - they have the perfect balance of professional service whilst still showing their own personalities which is nice to see, so often 5 star hotels don't allow for personalities which is a shame.I was traveling for business and had my partner with me. She got to enjoy much more of the hotel and the surrounding facilities than I did, and has only glowing reports. Amazing restaurants and vibe around the entire complex throughout the day and evenings. I can highly recommend the little casual restaurant next to the hotel, the Depot. Incredible coffee and outstanding food, plus you can charge back to your room which always helps.For me the real bonus was the Free WiFi. The two hotels at SKYCITY are as far I'm aware, the only hotels in New Zealand offering completely free limitless WiFi both in room and in public areas. It was already one of my favourite hotels, but this just topped it off and ensures I'll be back and telling all my friends to stay there too.You can't go wrong, it really is a simply brilliant hotel.
