For a solo traveller this would be a great hotel, it is a bit tight squeeze for a couples. Total 4 of us (two couples) we stayed for three nites, overall we are happy with the hotel.The sheets are clean and the bed is comfortable, an average looking restroom with a standing shower that has a small opening to get in (although it is big enough for me, may be a bit tough for a bigger built person). There is no hairdryer but you can ask the front desk for one, depending on the person you ask, one told us to bring back right away, another day the other told us we can keep that in the room! I got a bit frustrate with the electrical outlet situaration though, since none socket inside the bathroom, I had to use the one. (3 of them right below the TV) out in the room but the mirror is 3 feet from the desk! I wish they could put more thoughts to this; after all, if the lady is happy, the man will likely to have a pleasant day :-) I would get the hot water from the lobby restaurant rather than using the water kettle provide in the room (I advice to look inside before you decide to use it). We did get some wifi spilling from the lobby restaurant but on stable in our room, very good in the lobby though. My friends stayed at the room right behind the bar and did get good signal inside the room. The lobby eating space looks very quint and peaceful feel to it with a lot of seatings. After a long day running around the city and in that heat, nice to come back to this peaceful spot since there aren't much space to hangout inside the room. we did not eat breakfast in the hotel because it costs $ 10 Spg dollars per person when you could have a very decent meal outside in town for 1/2 of the price! Plenty of food court (in a small scale) just half the block from the hotel or Indian run somewhat American/India style breakfast around the corner.The staff is very friendly, the price is good for its location (hit both Little India and the Bugis village). Walk just less than 10 mins, you are at the MRT either Little India or Bugis Station where you can hop on a take you to all other sights. Truthly a convenience location, we took the MRT from the airport, make only one stop transfer at Tanah Merah then hop on the #2 green line straight to the Bugis station, then walk less then 10 min to the hotel. Worth the stay despite some minor inconveniences inside the room.

I have stayed two times in Perak Hotel. Its a nice cosy boutique hotel. As soon as you enter hotel and nice lemon smell welcomes you! Rooms are basic, clean and organised. Breakfast is very basic. Free tea/coffee all day in the breakfast area. Staff is helpful.It is an edge of Little India and little away from crowd. Many nice restuarants nearby. Famous SIM LIM building for electronics is short distance walk.Good place to stay, can recommend others to stay.

Just spent 3 lovely nights at the Perak Hotel in Perak Road, Little India, Singapore. Very comfortable rooms, exceptionally clean and very quaint. Great breakfast selection and one of the best locations in Singapore for shopping. Lots of casual restaurants very close by, Indian and Western,a 7/11 Store around the corner, 2 minutes walk from the mrt Little India and Bugis, Friendly and helpful staff. This refurbished 3 story building has no lift and the ground floor rooms have no windows, but we never found this to be a hardship. This is a budget hotel and an excellent place to stay for a few nights in Singapore where everything is overpriced. They have coffee making facilities in the room and a mini fridge which worked well and was well stocked. They offer no complimentary toiletries in the bathroom apart from hand soap and a liquid hand soap dispenser in the shower, so bring your own.We had a late check out and they also have a storage room for your luggage so you can shop till you drop on your last day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is small and not very nice or beautiful. It is a simple hotel, but the cheap prize all ready gave that away, right? =)We had two nights at this hotel while visiting Singapore. The room was clean. We had a good nights sleep. The staff is friendly and the location is good!This is a good budget hotel for people who just need a place to spend the night.

Don't expect a great place with awesome services. It's a simple place, just for a sleeping... The rooms are small, but well mantained. The point for us is that i was looking for a double bed and they putted us in a two single beds... .The room is a little noisy at night, because of some bars near the hotel. It's located about 700 m from two train stations, which is nice. The breakfast is simple but good. The staff is very good, helping us all the time.Probably I'll not come back again, but if you don't wanna spend all your money in a place to sleep, may be an option....
