Hotel management at its finest......... MAGICAL!
It's not often that I'm blown away, but this place has done it. This is a hotel run to perfection. The Swiss manager who is charming, has had years of experience in some of the worlds highest standard hotels and has brought his magic to ubud.Everything in this hotel is consistent. Amazing service, Devine food. The grounds and lily ponds feast the eyes. The padi fields and waddling ducks are perfect picture moments.I loved it when you are sitting by the pool and fresh cold towels, sun cream and face mist are brought to your table.Included laundry, drinks in room and constantly good service make this hotel superb.Try a massage whilst looking out over the fields, it spoilt me.Courtesy shuttle into ubud in the daytime is handy. Try the evening show and taster meal at restaurant, really enjoyable evening.Want to thank all the wonderful staff and management for a truly memorable stay, they have set the bar so high........well done.

Perfection in Bali
Honeymooners take note - this is the only place in Bali that you will need! The best of everything is here. The biggest problem is deciding what to do. The staff were faultless at making our time here the most enjoyable - including the General Manager.

incredible location, resort and people
this hotel has surprised us, in all points, not only we will go back but I would like to suggest it to all travelers. we had a wonderful room, with our own pool, just in front of the rise fields, nobody could see us in our pool, lovely place too for private breakfast at the sun rise, place was quiet and beautiful. the room was perfect, the service and the butler outstanding, ahead of your wishes, perfect timing, great organization so you feel pampers all time, and never you need to ask, (the manager is form the swiss school, this explain a lot). the chef is willing to cook for you a special diner when ever you want, and the food is perfect, service too, alcohol at fair price. spa is excellent, people are all nice always smiling calling you by your name, and the only problem is: you don't want to leave :)

Truly paradise found...
It is hard to imagine a better overall "hotel" experience. This is not really a hotel, but a relaxing and enjoyable environment in every respect. Eating every meal at a table that literally seemed to be in the middle of rice fields was unique. The incredibly good cuisine, personalized by one on ones with the chef, was particularly special. Our villa was huge, our personal butler was very special. What can one say? they have a world clas spa we did not use. You might. One could imagine just "letting go" for a week or so at the Chedi Club to re-energize your life.

Unique experience with personal service!
Stayed 3 nights as part of our honeymoon in a spa villa. Initial teething problems with tap in or tub not working properly and the plug not fitting were corrected almost instantly by our butler and the on site engineer.The staff were very friendly, the spa team excellent, enjoyed the variety of choices for breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails as well as the superb half day tour. We also indulged in the kecak dinner and dance, which we enjoyed, especially the flame throwing! Simon looks after all the guests personally and truly helped us enjoy our stay. I would say that the rooms may not be to everyone's taste, especially as they are more traditional in design rather than luxury in the more conventional sense, but this is part of the charm at Chedi Club. The Villas are private but not too far apart so you will see other guests and there were some children staying at the resort during our stay, so if you want pure honeymoon escape and quiet, Chedi may not be the one. Overall Ubud is a very different experience to Seminyak/Nusa Dua and Chedi has a great offering with beautiful architecture and a strong team to pamper guests. Thanks Chedi for looking after us and adding to our amazing Bali honeymoon memories!
