A natural luxurious and fun filled resort...
We stayed here with the entire family and as i remember we were never bored. The resort is one of a kind and offers many outdoor activities for every age group. They even organize trips to greenisland and other excursions for the barrier reef. The food is fantastic a the chefs are very accommodating in making special meal requests. Highly recommended to stay here....

Stinky Room
Service and general condition of the place was good. However the room stunk and if I were ever to return to this resort and was give a room with the same odor I would request a new room and if none were available I would not stay there.

Ideally located
We stayed in Cairns for several nights and found the location of this hotel ideal for our stay. Within blocks of the esplanade where you can find anything and everything your heart desires. Strolling the esplanade yield restaurants of all cuisines: healthy and unhealthy. The hotel staff is helpful, even will go that extra mile to assist patrons. The gentleman that checked us in provided two discount cards for tours in the area. Thanks for everything

Bursills in Cairns.
Food prices were a bit high (Hamburger for $19) but over all we were happy. The breakfast was good though the bacon was not great. Yo deal with. breakfast manager was very friendly and nice to deal with.

Ground floor room
We stayed 3 nights over a long weekend with our 2 kids (12 & 9). The rooms although not huge, can adequatley accommodate a family, if you are prepared to utilise the 2 double beds (which we were for a few days).We had a groung floor room, which did not face the pool area. Found this quite good as we were close to reception and the courtyard is about 3 times bigger than the balconies.Pool area is really nice as are the grounds. There is a back entrance, which gets you to the Esplanade a fair bit faster. Our room all up was $140 per night including brekky for all of us which I found very reasonable.The only down side for me was I thought the paths and courtyards could do with a high pressure clean as they are a bit grotty. I know it's the tropics but once or twice a year makes a huge difference.Other than that, all good. I've stayed here before and will do so again.
