Fantastic staff
We stayed here as a family (2 adults, 1 x 4 year old and 1 x 4 month old) at the end of April. We'd chosen the hotel mainly because of the family rooms available, and glad we did as the tower family room was extremely spacious, even with all the baby and small child paraphernalia! The hotel is well located for JBR but if you want to go further afield by taxi it can take quite a while to get away from the hotel, especially in rush hour, due to the traffic. If you're hiring a car (!), valet parking is included which is a useful extra.We didn't find the pool overly crowded but that might be because the weather wasn't dubai at its best. Staff were very helpful at finding us shade and/or setting up umbrellas so that we could keep the children in the shade. Sunbeds were plentiful and very comfy. The pool was very cold (not heated) and therefore not suitable for babies but our 4 year old didn't seem to mind and especially enjoyed the slides in the smaller pool.We didn't spend much time down on the beach but the view from there was beautiful and the sand was perfect for sandcastle building and shell collecting.The children's play area is fairly limited, but enough to keep a 4 year entertained for the odd half an hour. The kids club was clean and the staff very enthusiastic although the activities somewhat limited - our 4 year old mainly used it to watch a bit of tv when she wanted a break from the pool.Food was ok. The children's menu was limited and the adult menus expensive for what they were however you're not far from JBR where restaurants are plentiful, including plenty of well known chains, and much less expensive.My main reason for writing a review though is to praise the staff for the help and care they provided to our family when my husband was unlucky enough to faint by the side of the pool and seriously injure his face and jaw. They dealt with the immediate aftermath of the accident efficiently from a medical perspective but also with a great deal of care to me and the children, including organising a car to take us to the hospital and sending the hotel nurse with us, who stayed well past the end of her shift to ensure we were ok. Over the next few days many of the hotel staff asked very kindly after my husband and ensured we were very well looked after. The staff who were involved were an absolute credit to the hotel, especially the hotel nurse.If we were to come back to Dubai, I'd certainly consider staying here again.

Superb Service
Having just returned from Dubai and in particular the Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa, it's far to say the weather was a little off for the first 3 days most unexpected and rare.We stayed in one of the tower rooms of which was fantastic, the room service was exceptionally quick as was the cleaning of the room.If there was a negative, which most are really looking for when considering a well earned holiday, it would have to be the beach and pool area seamed very cramped compared to other hotels. Other than that obviously Dubai is expensive so be warned if you're not all inclusive it all adds up, so if on a budget monitor what you spend.Other than that we would stay there again.Hope it helps.

Rooms are in arabic style, nice and big. We had halfboard and food was very good (3 times at week are themed - seafood, russian kitchen..) Staff was very friendly. Pools are is nice, we prefered pool between buildings with fantastic view to a Palm. I recommend to book club room. There are lot of restaurants,.. You can find lot of dhops, restaurants on jumeirah walk.

The main building is nice and the rooms are 5 stars. The restaurants are not that great specially Al Dhiyafa international buffet restaurant where the food choice was limited and the quality is far below average. They charge Dhs 145 for lunch and 180 for dinner which is lower than others but the quality is also much lower than the rest.The pool area is very small for the no of rooms they have. The beach is tiny. It is very difficult to find any sun beds after 11AM, which can be frustrating. I think they allow lots of guests from outside the hotel to use the facilities for a daily fee.The service is good as most of the staff I dealt with were very nice. In short, it is more like 4 stars hotel, certainly not 5 stars. This hotel has much lower standard than all the neighboring hotel on Jumairah Beach. But the room rates are also much cheaper.
