Stayed for one month in this hotel for training in Standard chartered tower just next to the hotel. Perfect location just 5 mins walk to Bukit bintang shopping area, service is good and the room have beautiful Twin tower view!! Recommended!! :)

We stayed in this hotel during our visit to KL. The check in and check out was amazingly fast and smooth. All issues taken care of very efficiently. The rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was good catering to different taste. Centrally located easy to get to many places in KL.

I've stayed here on many occasions and mainly on the club floor. On arrival, you skip the check-in procedures on the ground floor and head right up to the club lounge where you relax, are served drinks and snacks while your check-in is taken care for you. The staff will know you and will refer to you by name throughout your stay. Breakfast buffet is great and so is the evening free cocktails and snacks. The view of KL from here is wonderful. Good staff, great service, great value. Location is nice too as you are walking distance from the Golden Triagle of Jalan Bukit Bintang where there is lots of shopping, street vendors, and amazing food.

My wife and I stayed here on our "mini-honeymoon" for 5 days. It was a great stay; the room, hotel and people were full of character. My wife checked in without me and they didn't make any fuss. It went smoothly! The room was very specious and was in good condition. It's not a new hotel but it is well maintained. Room service was lovely as well and quite filling!The lobby is a great place to hang out. We tried out their north Indian restaurant and liked the food...no complaints. The breakfast was complimentary for us and it was a grand one!Lastly the people...they are always smiling, caring and very approachable. They told us repeatedly to watch out for wife's handbag.All in all, great stay and will recommend to everyone! P.S the location is perfect too...it's situated right by the center of all the action (Bukit Bintang) but far enough to not be distracted by it.

It will be only fair to give you a little bit of history for you to really understand this review. Four of us - all Seniors - travelling on this trip. I was in the Army in Malaysia for 2 1/2 years from 1965. My brother-in-law is ex Navy and was there for 2 1/2 years from 71 and then another couple of years in the later 70's. It seems that most Malaysians over 25 understand their own history and are immensely greatful towards ex servicemen who served there during their times of trouble. Add in the fact that the hotel discovered my wife and I were on our Golden wedding trip and you may understand why we were treated almost like Royalty throughout our time there.We were made so welcome by ALL the staff, all of whom are very professional, very courteous and very friendly. We met most of the Managers, including the General manager, and many of the other staff. We had constant fruit in our rooms, on one occasion a huge chocolate cake iced with reference to our Golden wedding, and on two occasions our dinner was free. On paper it was paid for by a manager but I think it just went on the hotel's hospitality bill. We also had a free breakfast one morning.All the meals here are self service Buffet and eat as much as you want and the layouts are spectacular. It would be a really fussy person who could not find something to their liking. If you are resident then the evening meal is approximatley ¿¿20 (94 Ringats) and its buy one get one free. For my wife and I to have the sort of dinner we did for ¿¿10 each was great. I will point out that the Dining room is totally Halal and no alcohol is allowed. The hotel lounge is huge, very comfortable, well staffed and a great place to met other people. There is a band on from 9.30 in the evenings and the 2 musicians are both very good and the guitar player has a good voice. When we arrived they had 2 very good girl singers but their contract ended and another 2 taken on and while passable they are not as good as the originals. Drinks in the lounge are fairly pricy, but that is true all over KL. The pool is very nice, very clean and a good chill out area. We had 7 nights here, went to Oz and came back for 2 nights, then went to Singapore and came back for a final night before flying home. We had a very late flight home (2340) and were allowed to keep the room on until 6 in the evening at no extra charge. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with wonderful memories and would go back again tomorrow.Having said all this there are a few downers. The accomodation at this huge majestic hotel is in many areas in need of some TLC. Everywhere is very clean and generally everything works but the rooms could do with a refit. It would be true to say that the best way to do this would probably be to close off 1 floor at a time and work their way through it. The bedrooms need a coat of paint, new carpets and new curtains and in odd places a bit of carpentry would not go amiss. The bathrooms are huge and work well in general but need a major overhaul. Some baths are slow to empty and you do not expect bathrooms to be tiled in plastic off the roll tiles in a hotel of this quality. Having said that the baths are huge and a lovely relaxing soak place with endless piping hot water. The shower cabinets are huge and the power showers very good but the same applies. The hotel supplied bath robes which were very comfortablePlease don't let anything I have said put you off - the hotel is a great place to stay wnd we would all go back again.
