Centrally Located
This was the 1st time I was staying with my family in Singapore for a vacation and I had booked Furama for a part of my stay. The rooms are small though very clean. The breakfast spread is good though very little choices for vegetarians. 2 of the MRT stations (Clarke Quay and China Town) are within 2-5 mins walking distance and a mall is located just nearby. I was able to find some food choices in the mall. Had a great view from the windows. Although the room was small in size, i was able to stay with my family including my wife and 2 children (6 and 3). If the younger one was 1 year older, the room would have been very cramped. The staff was good, soft spoken, prompt and courteous. The stay was enjoyable and comfortable

Often in Furama hotel, Singapore
I have been in Singapore few times and all the times stayed in Furama Hotel. It's nice hotel with medium prices, clean rooms and delicious food. From the high floors you can enjoy the nice city view. Hotel situated nearby to shopping center and market. I wish to come back again!

Surprisingly Good
A surprisingly comfortable and reasonably priced hotel. Booked through SIA Holidays, they offered a four night stay for the price of three, buffet breakfast included and a late check out until 4 PM. Situated on the edge of Chinatown and right at Chinatown MRT station, it is waliking distance to the Riverside entertainment area and to Marina Bay. The SIA Hop On bus stops close to the hotel.

Expect to complain!
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. Unfortunately the Carlton was overbooked and our agent booked us in here at the last minute and we had no choice. The first time we stayed here they put us in a tiny room right next to the elevators. This time our agent had sent them an email informing them of our dissatisfaction with our last visit and requesting a decent room. Imagine our surprise after arriving very late at night, informing them of the email and expressing our wishes not to have a room next to the elevators, we went up to our room and discovered that they had put us in the same room. After complaining bitterly and standing around waiting for about half an hour they eventually gave us a decent room and then, the next day they tried to cheat us out of the 50% discount at their restaurant that we were entitled to according to our Singapore Stopover coupons.There was no apology for putting us in a substandard room to begin with and the staff at the front desk hardly seemed to know their jobs at all. If you want a pleasant stay in Singapore I suggest picking another hotel.

handy location
Stayed two nights a fortnight ago. Room basic but clean enough.After reading heaps of reviews we figured there would be nice views. What a huge dissapointment to discover upon opening the curtains that we were looking straight at a mass of sheet metal, ie the air conditioning plant!!!!I thought of requesting a move but due to the shortness of our stay plus not wanting to make an issue out of it decided against it.Woud definately stay there again due mainly to it's wonderful location BUT if they offered us room 722 again it would be move on to another hotel immediately.
