Great value!

Nice hotel, package deal a bonus
Don't have much to add to the nice comments from other guests. Check-in was efficient and very friendly. I came here to do business and found the room to be laid out very well, spotless and relatively quiet. Great choice if you are in for a convention.

A Wonderful Stay
We checked into the hotel around 3 pm and a very friendly girl with wavy red hair told us about the hotel and the Henry Ford museum. The first thing we noticed was the impressive lobby. It was nicely decorated and had plenty of places to sit. The entire hotel was clean, modern and had a central Henry Ford theme. The room was very clean and had great features like a Wolfgang Puck coffee machine and gourmet tea. There were even snacks and water waiting for us in the room as well as a card from management with my name on it, which was a lovely touch. There was plenty of parking and every staff member we met was polite and welcoming.

average to below average....
Came here on business and stayed here one night. Reserved a king sized Single room and was given a double. So I went back down and expressed my concern which they made right in the end. The cafe/ bar had a good feel to the atmosphere but the food was again average to below average which was disappointing. The rooms need to be updated. They did have flat panel televisions with a make shift remote to control it but overall you don't get the clean and "better than average" feel that you expect with most double tree hotels. Maybe should if stayed in royal oak or somewhere closer. I spent 169.00 on My room for an average to below average stay. I would not recommend for sub 200 bucks I'm sure there are better places.

Excellent hotel experience
I stayed at the Double Tree for a social event held in one of the conference rooms. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I liked the cookie at check in and also the greeting they left for me in the room. The bed was comfortable and crisp and clean. I really enjoyed the experience of staying at this Double Tree
