Excellent Value
I spent the night here last night after lecturing in one of their meeting rooms. When I was here about 18 months ago there was a remodel underway, so it was a less than pleasant experience.Now that the remodel has been completed, I am very impressed with that place and the 'bang for the buck' you get here. The free "Welcome Cocktail" coupon when checking in due to being a Priority Club member was yet another plus.

Good looking rooms in an old building
I spent about 6 1/2 hours in the hotel, but had the following observations:Large Front Desk/Lobby area that made me feel like I was in a scene from Mad Men. Not necessarily a bad thing, but certainly a bit of time travel involved.When I walked to my room, I noticed that the ceiling heights were about 7 1/2 feet, which seemed low and confining. Long hallways of doors without much to distract your attention.Then I walked into the room and was transported back to 2013. It looks like they have made an effort to modernize and decorate the rooms. Higher ceilings and the decorating made it quite comfortable.It is also about $20/night lower than similar quality hotels in SAC and West SAC.

easy stay
Good location and clean amenities. Good stuff: price,cleanliness,location. Weak points:service in restaurant,weird layout to find the elevators, and most security doors (gym, pool, side doors) just pop open when pushed. Still overall I would stay here again.

No problems, clean room but loud.
The front desk clerk was very friendly and the lobby area is extremely large and inviting. My room was clean and the ammenities were more than sufficient. The only problem was that my room was about 20 feet from the elevator and it was extremely loud.

This crowne should be removed from the throne
Where to start? How a out late check in at 12:30 am. Desk agent tells me my room rate doesn't qualify for breakfast or drink coupons - really? Whatever - I guess platinum priority club doesn't either? I'm too tired to argue so I let it go. The next morning when I meet my colleagues for breakfast I learn they all have breakfast and drink coupons and we are on the same rate!Let's talk about cleanliness- the toilet in my room had bad black stains from who knows what. I stayed two nights and so did the stains. I attached a picture. Both mornings at breakfast I got a coffee cup with lipstick on it. The first morning I didn't notice until I was ready to leave - yuck! When it happened again the next day it makes me wonder if they actually wash the dishes at all. The breakfast buffet is bad - definitely not Crowne Plaza standards. No bread or bagels at all. Eggs cold and not refilled during two trips to the line. Location is not the best. This inn is on a side street adjacent to an auto repair shop. Bottom line Avoid this place!!!
