Perfect location for skiing or bike park
The Powders Edge property is ideally located steps from the Whistler Ski Lifts and Bike Park. The unit has a loft master bedroom and another down stairs. The full kitchen is well equipped. Extra goodies include a Jacuzzi right in the unit that sits on a deck-like nook off the dining room. The downstairs shower doubles as a steam bath. The bed was very comfortable. Whiski Jack provides free phone service worldwide, and there is free wireless internet access. The unit also includes one free parking spot. That alone is worth almost $20 a day up here. Of course if you don't mind parking your car at one of the free lots (only free till September), there are plenty of space within a 15 minute walk. There is a new HD TV in the living area, but some of the furnishings are well used, and maintenance lapses are starting to show. The rumpled carpet in the bedroom poses a tripping hazard. We had booked a unit at the North Star, and was upgraded to this property at check-in. We are not totally convinced this is an upgrade and would have preferred that newer property just outside the village proper. It would have been nice to have access to a BBQ grill.
