Great choice for inner city hotel
Loved this Hilton and have stayed in many. Cannot beat the location right across from Victoria Station; in the heart of...well, everything. Great service. Exercise facilities beats all. Humongous assortment of equipment; stretch area; lap pool; hot tub; weight area; and exercise classes galore...all included in the price of the stay. Only downside was size of the room...very small, but could deal with it with everything else so positive.

Nothing other than the location is up to standard
I've been staying here for 8 nights.The gym closes at 9:30 on weekdays and 8pm on weekend, which is far too early.I had problem connecting to the internet each and every night. Basically the connection went out every half an hour and then came back after 5 to 10 minutes. Sometimes I was redirected to the log-in page repeatedly. I called the staff for the first 4 nights. Every time I got exactly the same response "The manager is talking to the service provider on the phone to figure out a solution." After getting this hopeless response for 4 consecutive nights, I gave up calling them again.This Hilton has small rooms with an annoying automatic minibar. It charged me even though I didn't pick up anything from it. Fortunately the staff took it away from the bill upon request. A double bed means 2 beds being put together, so don't expect a very comfortable one.The choice offered at the breakfast buffet is very limited, especially for hot stuff. There are mushroom, baked beans, fried rice, porridge and an egg station. These are all they've got other than the bread and pastry. The executive lounge is even worse.

Flashy but average and very poor WIFI
Stayed here on business in May 2013 - first off the good - Beautiful interior and rooms very clean and modern. Awesome shower.The rest was frankly disappointing, paid extra for Wifi and the signal was useless,reception was no help, putting me through to "tech support" in USA, again useless. Hard to position yourself as a business hotel these days without a working wifi. The bar/cafe area in the center of the hotel was very poorly laid out and confusing, on one occassion it took me about 10 minutes to find a toliet and then another 10 minutes to get back to my colleagues in the cafe. Little or no signage.Expect better from such a high priced Brand in the CBD to be honest

great hotel. executive level was well worth it: breakfast quickly, afternoon tea, wine and nice snacks you can make a meal of in evening. great location. hop on train from airport to drop you few blocks from hotel. easy walk to Harbour, Botanical Gardens, Opera House. great staff, allowed us to ck in early - just let them know you are flying in that day and they will work hard to have room available. smooth checkin. GREAT pool, workout facility, even had spinning bikes so bring your shoes for your own work out or classe available. didn't want to leave and head over to nearby Sheraton, but had to for conference...
