We just held our wedding reception here and stayed for a couple of nights prior to the event. During our stay, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The lead up to our wedding, and the night of the event, the events/function staff were again extremely friendly and helpful, all guests were well looked after. The food was pretty good. We'd definitely recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to consider this as an option!

This hotel is really great value for money. Pay a 2 star price and get 5 star value! Rooms are spacious and neat, staff is friendly and service good. As for its location opinions differ. It is right above Brisbane's central railway station thus if you travel by train its perfect, however be aware that it is about 10-20min walk from the action like restaurants and bars to each area. There is a big parking in the building thus travelling by car is not a problem at all. Fitness room and swimming pool could be better, however it is not really needed if you stay 2 days in Brisbane exploring the city.

Wow this hotel has everything you need & more..Close to all your public services that can take you all around Brisbane, easy walking distance into the city.The rooms are spacious,tidy & is great for the corporate traveler. the gym on the roof gave great views of city & the kids loved breakfast ever morning especially the pancake machine. The have great coffee machine with the added option of takeaway cups for the people on the go & dinner had great options with friendly staff.The best thing is FREE WIFI most hotels charge an arm & leg but Free at Traders.Traders staff where great & very friendly all round the rooms were all ways spotless a credit to Housekeeping Manager.I will be back here again & recommend to all.Thanks Traders

I stayed for four nights on business.I was in room 1611, a fantastic king room, 2nd level from the top, facing the city. I had excellent nights' sleep the whole trip. Some colleagues were staying on lower levels on the rail side, and had a bit of interruption from the train station, which is essentially on the same property as the hotel.I had a fantastic stay. Room servicing and housekeeping was immaculate. The room itself was spacious and functional and delivered exactly what I needed it to. The wifi worked well and was a decent speed. The continental and buffet breakfast had good alternatives. Check in was easy and check out was prompt. I didn't use the gym, but was told by colleagues that it was clean, teh equipment was good and the pool was also good.The location is extremely convenient. Roma St train station is accessible from level 2 in the hotel lefts. Parking is also accessible from levels 3 and 4 in the lift. Queen St is not far away and there are many options for shopping and restaurants within an easy 10 min walk of the hotel.The only fault I would give the hotel was that my room card stopped working three times and had to either be re-programmed or swapped for a new one. I didn't question why it was happening as I was concerned that they had given someone else my room, who might have got a shock to see my belongings in there; and I didn't wish for this to be the case. It's only a suspicion however, and was never confirmed. But it was definitely an inconvenience, mainly because it had multiple occurrences.This aside, the hotel was great and I would absolutely stay there again when in Brisbane.

Due to flooding of all roads between coffs harbour and brisbane we were unable to get to the hotel, when we rang telling them our situtation the staff were very rude and gave a "its your problem not mine" attitude, they didnt give us a refund or a credit to stay at a later date nor were we able to give the rooms we booked and payed for to friends of ours. the rooms we booked added up to $400. I am disgusted at the staffs attitude and thiefing behaviour of the hotel. I will never be staying at this hotel.
