Terrible stay
The Ramada in West Hollywood was terrible. The room was gloomy and dark. The beds squeaked and groaned so loudly that every time you moved you woke everyone else up. The air conditioning sounded like a freight train. The rollaway bed that we were given was that bad that we could not use it. There was a blood stain on one of the pillows. The room next door decided to have a party at 1.30am and when we rang for security it took them so long to respond. We were supposed to stay for 5 nights but checked out after one long night and the Manager never even asked why we were leaving. Would never recommend this hotel.

Always stay here
I cannot recommend this place enough! Do not let the bad color scheme outside turn you off! Could not get a better, safer location and its so cheap! 15 min walk to Beverly Center and even less to Melrose and all the restaurants/clubs on La Cienega (eg. Fig & Olive, STK, Greystone Manor). Even walked back from Chateau Marmont one night in less than half an hour. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and free wi-fi! Just be warned parking is fairly expensive.

April Getaway to LA
The Ramada is a very nice hotel in a great location. However, the parking fee was very pricey. The ground floor of the structure does not have parking spaces available so we needed to park on the upper level. Unfortunately, we did not know that there was not an elevator so we had to carry our luggage and bags down a large set of stairs, across the driveway and into the lobby of the hotel. This was a surprise and wish we would have been told prior to checking in. It also was a very busy parking structure servicing several business's and an inconvenience to get a ticket on the way in and stop to hand it to the attendant on the way out every time you want to leave. The parking alone might make us think twice before staying here again.

The hotel was descent for the price and accommodations. I felt I paid more for the location, rather than the amenity's offered. As far as the hotel is concerned, I've stayed at a lot nicer hotels for a lot less.
