Champagne and Chocolates
Took a package that had free welcome champagne and chocolates. Room was great with views across Wellington Harbour. Breakfast was great with a good variety. The hotel is close to Te Papa and to the Cuba Street Eateries. Staff great

Good hotel in a good location
Came to wellington with my partner for the afl match here and was very happy with the hotel. Great location for what we needed, close to cuba st and courtney place, walking distance to the wellington cable car, also walking distance to westpac stadium which was convienient for us. Could see te papa from our room. Room itself was a good size for two people only downside we found is the issue with split beds making up a king bed, the rock hard centre is not comfortable at all! Nice view, has a desk, a comfortable chaise lounge and decent size bathroom with stand alone shower and bath.Room was well serviced daily and very clean. Expensive valet parking at NZD $30 a night but to be expected in a city hotel. Valet service was excellent. Also pricey wifi $26 per day however unlike other hotels along our trip we could connect more than one device at a time! Room service food is resonable and delicious!All up a great stay in wellington!All up, a great stay

Pleasant hotel with good location
Spent two nights in the Amora Hotel in Wellington - very clean and quiet, with attentive service and outstanding location very near the CBD, the waterfront and Cuba Street. Bathrooms a little dated, but work well enough. Only possible downside was requesting a room with a view - as the hotel does look over the harbour - and wound up looking at a services and equipment light well. Not every room has a view, I guess, but apart from that trivial thing, excellent.

Great hotel and a great location
This hotel is excellently placed for the entertainment in Wellington; very close to Courtney Place. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. While the bathrooms are a little dated, they still have a standalone shower, which I much prefer to some hotels with smaller bathrooms and an over the bath shower. The hotel has a small gym with some cardio machines and limited free weights.Lots of restaurants and bars are all within a short walking distance of the Amora, and it's very close to the centre of the town. All in all, a great place to stay when in Wellongton.
