Great place to stay with great price
The place is in the good location which you can walk to town center withing 5 minutes. The room is big and comfortable according to the price. The restaurant in the hotel called Jimmy is the great place to eat; great environment and great food.

Very good value
We stayed here for just 1 night. It was a busy weekend in Dunedin (graduation) and yet we got a sharp price of only $89 per room. The room was very clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just as you'd expect. This hotel is very well located - easy walking distance to the Octagon and everything in the centre of town. there was fee parking available for us (although maybe there isn't always). I would happily stay here again.

Just behind St Pauls Cathedral
We booked online through the hotel website, which offered add ons at a very reasonable price. The rooms were clean tidy and modern. Staff were helpful and friendly offering advice on places to eat. Couldn't belive how close to the Octagon we were! Really enjoyed our stay and will visit again as our Daughter starts uni in July.

Exceeded Expectations
We prepaid online for bed and breakfast, I paid the minimal price as it was more of a stopover than a holiday. We found the hotel very central with lovely city views. The exterior was tired but upon entering the hotel we were greeted by two helpful staff, who pointed out free parking onsite and advised of breakfast times. We must have been upgraded as I only paid $236 for two nights including breakfast for two each morning and we got to our room which turned out to be a suite on the top floor with an ensuite, lounge with minibar and two balconies. We were very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You can hear very minimal street noise but we stayed Saturday and Sunday so it was expected.The bathroom was a decent size and very clean and fresh. the room had everything and more, breakfast was delicious and great value for money. We will definately be returning!

Wicked location - behind the Octagon
Location, location, location. Nice and central to the city. We walked to the Speights tour etc from here. There was some maintenance (banging on the wall) happening though in the afternoon, so an afternoon kip after a long drive was out of the question. Also the jug shot blue sparks but we informed staff. No dramas at all really.
