Novotel a distance walk from anywhere Sydney CBD
My wife had bad experiences in sleeping in hotel beds causing her pre-existing backpains. The bed at your hotel was just perfect for her and she slept like a baby, and she cannot wait until we have a social event or function to be held again at your hotel. The ambience and location was so convenient, close to everywhere in CBD Sydney, most especially, the famous Chinatown eateries. Your staff very very courteous in the counter, very well mannered and very professional in their ways. Me and my wife, Daisy will sure come back.

Disappointed
When we arrived, we found one of the pillows with lipstick stains. It also looked as though the bed had not been changed. We asked for the bed to be made up, which they did. When they took the pillow case off the pillows, they were full of stains and looked old and disgusting. The manager told us they change the pillows ever 6 months - I know this is a public room but it was bad. The manager also promised us a bottle of champagne to apologise. The champagne never arrived. I am an Accor member, but not for long.........

Nice hotel, good location
This hotel is every thing you wold expect of the Novotel chain, it was new and modern, nice staff, the hotel room was large and comfortable (see pictures). The hotel location is great for the CBD of Sydney. It is near Chinatown, for a quick inexpensive meal. The lobby has Apple computers that are connected to the internet that are free. Close to all the sites of Darling Harbor and a short taxi ride to the Rocks area. I recommend this hotel as a great base for a visit to Sydney.

Enjoyable stay
Had a wonderful time. Staff was always very friendly & most helpful. A slight hicup at checkin was quickly & most professionally rectified.We had many plans for the short stay & your shed was ideally located for us country folk to see the sights of Sydney.We will be back.

our stay
our bed was 2 single beds not a king so had to ring and ask them to make it up as a king. then at breakfast my husband find a hair in this egg. so we just stop eating. would have too think twice about staying again
