Nice Location
This hotel was welcoming with lovely views of the Sydney Skyline across Darling Harbour. We stayed in a very large beautiful room also with a view of the harbour - two double beds. Happy hour between 5 and 6pm and the food was nice. Car parking a little pricy but this is practically the centre of Sydney. No complaints. Staff friendly and always willing to help.

Top Location
Room ready on arrival even though we were there 4 hours before offical check in time. The view across Darling Harbour was just beatiful and the lage window framed it to perfection. Had dinner in the hotel restarunt and the meal and presentation were top class. had a bit of a problem as the entree order was lost in the system but easily sorted out. Very comfortable room with all the things you need.

Novotel Darling Harbour
Great room, great view, great location, gerat value. TV was not setup properly for widescreen, which made everything squat and out of proportion. But it is a thing with me, I hate it, TV should be set right, some people don't seem to care about it because they don't know it can be fixed.

Accor Member pointless
We have stayed in this hotel many times before. I am now an Accor member which costs some $395/year, no idea why. As a member we were given the worst room in the hotel, in fact it was a disabled room, right next to the noise of the maids store-room and lift, the fridge stank of 4 week old milk there was a bad stain at the entrance to the room and I am sure it was the smallest room in the entire hotel. We complained the next day and they moved us however the fact they gave an Accor member the worst room sticks in my throat. You would think they would look after their repeat guests, but no!!This hotel is in serious need of renovation, the rooms are looking old and worn out. There is no way they should hold a 4.5 star rating, it is more like a 3 star hotel and I stay in hotels every week all over the world. Will not be staying here again and am definitely NOT renewing my membership.

better than expected!
My partner and I stayed overnight at this hotel for my graduation at the Convention Centre. The room was nice, clean and spacious. After previously staying 4 nights in Mercure Perth, we were pleasantly surprised with the touch of luxury in this hotel. Nice modern bathroom and large TV. Parking was $45 and overpriced but at least the stay was faultless, so cant really complain! The highlight of our stay was ordering a 3-course meal late that evening and having a table rolled into the room. It¿¿¿s a bit odd though that there was only 1 chair in the room. It was ok as I sat on the couch, which was an appropriate height for the table. The food was delicious! We ordered the lamb and calamari entr¿¿e, salmon and chicken main, and the panna cotta and cheesecake dessert. We were soooo satisfied, especially after the long day we had. We had a late check out and walked over to Harbourside for lunch at Dragon Boat. It was a great stay and would definitely book again if we needed an overnighter in the city.
