Great location in Port Douglas
Just finished a 3 night stay. Very nice unit and even though we were in a room facing the road no street noise got into the room. Can't say the same for the bloody birds, screeching away morning and night. The unit is spacious and has everything you need and is located right in the heart of Macrossan St with easy access to pubs, shops and restaurants.Undercover parking is also supplied. No free wifi. PS, BYO toilet paper, you only get one roll. No replacements. And you have to take out your own trash when you leave.Would still defo stay here again.

Great central location - another great stay
Stayed at Le Cher again earlier this month (May 2013). Love it everytime we come here. Wish we had been able to stay longer. Port Douglas is a great location and Le Cher is in the perfect position to enjoy it - right in the heart of the restaurants and shops, easy walk to the Marina, 4 mile beach, and the inlet.

Another great stay
Stayed again recently at Le Cher Du Monde and as usual it was an enjoyable stay. Just love the place and the location. Right in the centre of town this facility is fantastic. can't wait to visit again

Lovely!
We had a lovely stay at Le Cher Du Monde - the couple that manage the building were always friendly and easy to deal with. Our room looked onto the well maintained pool - it was quiet, clean and had air conditioning. Because we had a nicely equipped little kitchen, we bought groceries at the store across the street to help with costs on our trip. We commented that we liked staying on the main street because we could head out anytime to wander without being too far to walk like some of the other larger resorts in town.

Nice spot on the main street
Nice place with convenient off street underground parking. Second floor room which was spacious and nice bathroom. Our room faced onto the main road but thanks to the double glazing it was soundproof. Nice pool area ideal for cooling off on a hot day. Location is ideal for all Port Douglas attractions.
