Only thing going for this hotel is the location
Stayed 1 night on a work trip and although the location is great and it's right on Collins Street, the hotel is below average.The room was a good size but you almost have to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom. On top of sleeping almost in the bathroom, the bed sagged in the middle and was really uncomfortable.The shower is the type that runs direct onto the floor so the whole bathroom got wet.Lifts need the key card to access floors but mine wouldn't work and when I went to reception I was told the lifts were old and to keep trying....not very helpful when you can't get up to your room!Was really glad it was just a 1 night stay. Any longer and I would have gone somewhere else as it's overpriced for what you get.

If you enjoy going to the bathroom next to your partners head...
Then this is the place for you. We had a big enough room so I could not understand why the bed was right next to the toilet. Most of the staff were friendly enough but I think there are much better places in Melbourne to stay. I wouldn't come back here. The only convenience is the location.

Better than expected after reading reviews
We had an exec appartment with windows. Room was clean but bed was only double size not queen and we sunk into the centre. Biggest issue was they removed $150 from my mastercard debit card as a bond without informing me. Thus when I went shopping I could not access my money. I have been to many hotels and this has not been a practice before. I checked out 24 hrs ago and still cannot get use my money. My accomodation was already paid in full before I checked in and there is no mini bar or anything so it seems totally unnecessary.

Not worth other than location
This hotel is way overpriced for what it is, some rooms don't even have windows and the bathrooms are narrow and uncomfortable. Everything looks old and worn out. I paid for a night in advance so I could checking early and shower after a long flight so I expected that at least my room would be cleaned and bed made for my evening rest but it was exactly as I left it. The only good thing to say is that the reception staff was very friendly.In summary, there are better options and value for your money in Melbourne

No window! What is that all about?!
Very smartly the pictures of the studio apartment show closed curtains. That is because the window looks out onto a corridor. No natural light, no view of any kind. You cant even have the curtains open, as the other guests are just walking by.The TV is so small and badly placed, they should not have even bothered. We purchased this room on a deal from TV, at a rate of 50% off. Even at that rate, I find it terribly over priced, considering you don't even get a window. It was clean and modern. I'll give it that.
