We stayed here because our event at Century Center gave a discounted rate. We were greeted at check in and commented on the new lobby. We inquired if the rooms had been done also and she said not yet. Since our visit was work related for the convention, we were rarely in the room. Didn't do room service since we had stayed there several years ago and had a hard drive go missing. So coming back late I called to get fresh towels. It took 3 calls to get them. I decided to freshen up the beds and noticed that the mattresses were coming undone. A/C vent had mold on it. ( See pics). Would have asked to be moved but since the rooms weren't being renovated, we did want the hassle of relocating. On the positive side, the front desk staff and van service drivers were nice.

Beautiful, high end luxery. Nice lobby, valet and concierge services. Great restaurant, great breakfast and dinner. Fantastic rooms. Close to Century II. Great service, good pool and gym. There was a wedding being held there and it looked beautiful. Right on the water. Deserves another stay or three or four!!

I would have to say that the people at the front desk were helpful in more ways than one for me on this trip. I arrived on a Wednesday for business and by that night around 10 or so, I noticed that I did not have my special pillow that I brought for my neck. Well I called the front desk and asked them if anyone had turned in or found a pillow with an orange pillow case. Well no one had turned one in anyway. So I retraced my steps to our vehicle parked in the parking lot outside and half way there by the stop sign I seen something in the grass. OMG! My pillow, I was so excited to see it....I picked it up.....oh no....it had gotten soaking wet. Well I carried it up to the front desk and told them that I had found my pillow. Calvin the Manager was there at that time and he suggested that he could put it in their commercial dryers and then bring it up to me later....I thought that was awsome news. Well anyway about 4 am it was all nice and dry after several phone calls stating that it was almost dry and they would bring it up. That was around 1 or so that they said it was almost done. I know that I could not have done without it. I really appreciated that. By that time I had been up 25 hours. I was sooo ready to crash. Then the next day in between the business meetings and the reception there was a break and I decided to relax by going down to the HC (Health Center), well I was having trouble with my key card and teh elevator was not moving at all. Well I finally pushed L for the 1st floor and I immediately went to the front desk and a young gentleman helped me and went with me and showed me how to use the key card correctly. I was in a panic. He calmly showed me and went with me to HC and everything else went smoothly after that. I really appreciated him taking the time to go with me. My room was on the 9th floor and I slept with the curtains open just to see the beautiful lights of the city. The only drawback was that a 'neighbor' somewhere decided to shower at 6 am in the morning, and you could hear it loud and clear. All in all I would definately return to this hotel whether it be for business or pleasure.

I was driving back from MO back to TX and I stopped in Wichita, KS to rest. I booked a room at the Hyatt a month in advanced and received an excellent deal thru Priceline.I arrived late at around 9pm there was a young lady that helped me check in and made the process quick and effortless by 9:15 I was relaxing in my room. Yes there is a charge for parking but is a minimal price to have my vehicle secure and the walk from the parking is not bad, a hallway and a elevator not as horrible as previous reviews. But they do need to do something about the noise level I heard the doors of the rooms close to mine open and close and several people staggering back to there rooms. Good stay overall.

I hate that this is my first review on this hotel because every other visit has been very good...this one wasn't. I always try to reserve one of the executive corner rooms and this visit was no different. The couch was filthy with stains on it and I also found stains on a few of the fixtures as well. I was woken up by the sound of hammers on Monday morning and since I wasn't told if any work going on at the hotel I called the front desk to ask about the noise. The lady at the front desk told me that she would check on it and would call me back. She did call back about 5-10 minutes later to let me know there were renovations going on in the room directly below mine...probably something I should have been told at check-in. The valet service is non-existent...in fact I'm not sure they even know what valet service is. Not once were we greeted as we pulled in and on several occasions we had to walk the keys inside to a valet person hanging out at the front desk. One time we were asked if we could move the car ourselves to a different location and when we checked out we were just handed our keys and told that our car was at the end of the line, basically at the garage. Typically I have zero complaints about this hotel and won't let this keep me from coming back but I can't say this was a great experience...
