Great location and Upgraded!
I stayed at this hotel located in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan at the last minute due to a meeting in the city. I was greeted kindly and I was upgraded to a suite that had a separate living room area and a huge bedroom. The hotel looks like renovated apartments. It was only an overnight stay but would recommend it to anyone to stay. The ONLY downside was the shower head was cheap and the water actually hurt spraying out of the shower head to the point I needed to get out of the shower as soon as possible

St Giles NY is tops
I will never stay anywhere else while visiting NYC. The best staff will greet you and take great care of all of your needs. They will be your family while you are away from home. It's located in mid town so you can get around all of Manhattan with the greatest of ease.

Upgraded to an executive suite! Excellent stay!!
I was kindly greeted by Isabel Hu, who dropped the good news that we were being upgraded to the executive suite. I had a great time at this hotel for my girlfriend's birthday. She loved it! The suite was very clean and was very modern. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this was. I would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to others.

unexpected delight - good value
reserved this hotel based on rate and general location, pleasantly surprised by upgrade to suite, slight modern edge to decor, great location near shopping, dining, entertainment and subway stations, pleasant service staff, large and comfortable room - especially for New York City, valet parking was prompt and reasonably priced, windows faced north and east for nice view of city, nicely clean with large tv, note that as it is an old building with wise renovations there are room A/C units NOT central air - they were a bit noisy - so I turned them off and enjoyed the soft din of the city life to lull me to sleep, in a hot summer the window units might not cut the heat for everyone.

Good location
Very good location for mid town, very near Grand Central and close enough to walk to othe sites. Went with wife and had another room where two daughters stayed and could see mixed quality and size of rooms. We had view of Chrysler building and daughters could see Empire State. Teirs was good size but ours was very small and needed some work on decoration and fittings etc. Ours we had noisy traffic at junction but as NY suppose you have to expect this.Very helpful staff especially friendly concierge (sorry cannot remeber her name). No evening restaurant but bar was lively and a pleasant place to have drink before going out
