Some recent improvements, but still falls short
I stayed one night while traveling for work. I was in an upgraded "Superior Riverview" room on the top floor.The lobby of the hotel is basically one big casino. It had a lot of smoke smell to it (as compared to a Las Vegas casino).The rooms were on-par with an old Holiday Inn. They clearly had some recent updates, including granite sinks in the bathroom. However, other aspects fell very short of expectations. Examples include the lack of a closet (hanging bar was across from the bathroom) and a very old, lime and rust covered shower head. I have no idea how they can pay to upgrade some things, but then miss replacing a HORRIBLE shower head. It was so bad, I debated just skipping the shower. Given the nearby location of other casino-hotels, I would likely look to try one of the ot her locations - although given their age, they are likely very similar.

Relatively Nice
Fantastic neon facade! The room was nice; great view of river & the floor to ceiling windows really help. Clean. Pretty quiet but that may have been my good neighbor luck as the walls are a bit thin. Staff were great at front desk & elsewhere. Outdoor pool was nice. There are better restaurants in other hotels; the Aquarius buffet was truly unremarkable.I would recommend the Aquarius, especially the upgraded rooms with a view of the river.

Nice Place
I have stayed at Harrahs for over 20 years and now I am staying here at the Aquarius. The rooms are much nicer, I do miss the beach area Harrahs has, but like it here better. Parking for our waverunners is much better here as well. All in all, a good place to stay. Much more generous with players cards here. Staff is always helpful, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Laughlin Hotel
I stayed at the Aquarius while in town for a reunion. The hotel/casino is by far one of the best in the area. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel in general and the fact that they make an effort to keep it up as it does show. Check-in was a breeze, despite the fact I erred and checked in a day after I was supposed to. The front desk staff was friendly, courteous and provided me with the requested room at the rate I had reserved it for even though I was a day late and had not notified them. The room had a view of the river, was spacious, well appointed and very clean. In short, it was a great stay at a well maintained and managed property, The rooms were very fairly priced and clean with floor to ceiling windows. I would stay again without question. Lastly, their gym is equipped quite well for those wanting to keep the exercise regiment on track.

Laughlin Trip
The rooms are nice, try to get one with view of the river. Service is great, the buffet is decent with a great view. This is one of the nicer well kept hotels in Laughlin. It has everything inside, including a steak house. Play with your players card and they will give you great rates and save lots of money. I recommend this hotel for the whole family.
