Not as bad as I thought it would be
After reading other reviews I had fairly low expectations but booked a room anyway because I was traveling alone and like staying in dive hotels. Any time a hotel clerk is behind bullet proof glass you know youre probably not in the best of areas. But alas it turned out not to be nearly as exciting as i thought it would be. There were no hookers roaming the parking lot or hallways and the room while spartan was clean. The girl who checked me in was pleasent but the guy I turned my key card in to was grumpy for some reason but I thought it more humorous then anything.Im not sure if I would plan a family vacation around this hotel but for a guy traveling alone I would surely book again.

I was very impressed at my room. It was very nice, clean and quiet. I had no complaints. I can say i was a little shocked as i walked in the lobby and immediatly ran into a hooker, I did not judge the hotel because there will be nasty females everywhere. I walked into my room and was very happy. It was clean and very nice. The bathroom was clean and the sheets looked new. The vending machines have everything you need incase you forget something. I did not like the skinny black woman at the desk. I went down to purchase some food and she was very RUDE to me. She acted like I was bothering her to do her job.She had no personality and all she had was a bad attitude. The next morning I turned my key in and she had no expression, NO thank you, NO have a nice day, NOTHING! she needs to adjust her attitude if she is going to be working with the public and treating people like that after they spend their money staying there it is just wrong!Thats my only complaint. I will definently book a room there again.

Ran out of there FAST.
I took pictures with my camera but I'm using my phone right now so I can't upload them. The carpets had not been vacuumed, there was pee and hair all over the toilet and the toilet base, the floors had dirt on them, the walls had dirt on them, the sink had a couple little hairs in it, the mirror was dirty, the counters were dirty, there were candy wrappers by the TV, there was a fake nail and crumbs next to the bed on the floor, and there was still some water in the jacuzzi tub. It was a complete wreck. The cleaning staff is so lazy or they cannot afford a cleaning staff. I couldn't even risk sleeping in that bed afraid I might get lice. I left immediately and got my money back through hotels.com. the value is awful. I pay over 100 dollars for a jacuzzi room I love at comfort suites once a yr for my anniversary. There, its wonderful. Y should I pay the same price elsewhere for a dump?? and that was just the room. On my way out leaving I noticed all the crumbs and dirt and trash in the hallways. Next to the elevator on top of the trash can there was old food all over the floor and cigarette butts everywhere. There's also a cameras all over the place which makes you question the safety of the place. And their idea of room service is a refrigerator at the front front desk with prices of pizza and hot pockets.the coffee area by the front desk pad puddles of dry coffee all over it too. The entire place was a complete dump. I don't even want to check the pool. Or ask if there was a free continental breakfast. Lol. I'll never go there again. Don't go here!!

Not for families
The pictures are very decieving. We were looking for somewhere affordable (under $100) and nearby attractions (within walking distance). The gated free parking was a plus, but when we arrived and I saw the area, I did not even feel safe to walk across the road to the bank. The lobby was filthy and as we walked to our room with our 3 year old, there were underwear in the vending machine! We flipped through the tv channels (only about 35 to choose from) and there was porn on the screen. We opted to take a cab suggested by the hotel to the stadium, but even that was ghetto and scary without working seatbelts. We asked for a nonsmoking room, but yet there were ashtrays and everything came back smelling like smoke. Will not ever stay there again and I don't recommend it.

Just what I needed (and payed for)
I don't if it's just me but I read lots of reviews here from people that pay 50 bucks per night and expect Ritz Carlton accommodations. Ok, the lobby is kind of spooky and being offered drugs as soon as you enter is not everyone's taste but my room was clean, warm and it was conveniently located near COBO center (went for the auto show). The polish guy at the front desk was really helpful providing instructions. Overall a great experience
