Sleep well, save $$
Just a one night layover from a fab FP vacation. At first you feel like a bit shabby , but nice staff and clean comfortable beds. The beat pillow i have had in three weeks. The pool is on the 4th floor and great for a wake up dip. They have a shuttle scedule to Manhattan beach , but is was running late and the evening was short so we did not partake. 15 min shuttle to airport . Perfect

Good price, decent place to stay
The room was clean, the staff pleasant. You can hear the planes but if you have the ac on, it's noise covers the plane noise. Parking access was easy. The restaurant isn't much to speak of - we ate across the street at the Holiday Inn which was fine. Another option is the Daily Grill across Century Blvd.Suggestion - the bathroom needs soap dishes. The soap and water gets all over the sink counter.

Maids stole my designer clothes
I stayed here for two nights. My company booked the hotel. My room was two doors down from the ice maker. It might as well have been in the ice maker room. I could hear anyone and everyone who used the vending machines and ice. Doesn't make for an easy night's sleep. Upon an early morning departure, I forgot to check the closet. When I unpacked at home, I realized that I left two expensive designer blouses hanging in the closet. Obviously that's my fault. But, hoping for an honest staff, I called the hotel to see if they found them. It took me THREE phone calls before I found someone who (supposedly) looked into the matter. If only I could understand Spanish!!! She eventually told me that nothing was found in my room. Of course. Some maid is now wearing my $500 blouses. What happened to people being honest anymore?

Good Bet at LAX
When staying at a hotel in a huge city near a huge airport, you can ask the following:-A 24 hour airport shuttle.-A pleasant check-in.-Comfortable beds.-Minor inconveniences.This place is fine. Those people complaining about slow elevators and parking cost are welcome to stay someplace else, but my guess is that they will either pay more, or they will give up other things in return.I stayed here two nights. The first was $90 for a busy Friday night, then $75 for a slower Sunday night. Beds are great; just a nice, bright room.The airport shuttle (shared by the Holiday Inn) is a bit slow, but reliable and runs every 20 minutes or so 24 hours a day.The room is clean, the bathroom is small; the room is quiet; the HVAC system works like a champ.Good stay(s).

What a let down!!!
Wanted to get a different hotel other than the Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza at LAX. Both were horrible. Having been happy with LQ on the road, thought this would be a change for the better--wrong!! Postage stamp sized room (810). The king bed hardly fit in. Old towels, 1 shampoo, no lotion or anything else. Dirty lobby and broken elevators. What else could someone want for an overnight??? Forget this place too!
