Small, clean, good location
We found this hotel using TripAdvisor and chose it because of its close location to our destination, its reasonable pricing, and the reviews that indicated it was a good value, close to LAX and within walking distance (yes we actually walked in LA) to the places that we had to visit during our stay in LA. All the points highlighted in the reviews proved to be valid. It's an older motel that's been rehabbed into a nicely decorated upscale two story facility with larger rooms, baths and handsome comfortable furnishing. There was good wifi, plenty of hot water in a large walk-in shower stall, and a quiet location. The bed was comfortable and the linens were ample. A bonus that no one mentioned in their reviews about the hotel was that Lenny's Deli is directly across the street. So, after getting the complimentary cup of coffee in the lobby, we were able to cross Westwood Blvd. and step back into time at Lenny's with the corned beef hash and poached eggs - I highly recommend. Then get your shoes shined at Stop n Shine just outside Lenny's and its the perfect start for a day in LA.

Chic and Simple
This tiny hotel near UCLA was just what a friend and I needed for a recent one-night stay. The room was clean and cute, the staff was friendly, and the whole boutique experience felt intimate and special. Two drawbacks: the walls between rooms are very thin, and the parking lot ($15 for 24 hours) fills up at night and is a tight squeeze to exit. Otherwise a lovely establishment!

What positive can I say about this hotel?
Nothing.Ugly room with no window, strange furniture, you can listen everything what happens outside your room, very cold floor in the bathroom. If you have a chance not to stay in this hotel - use it!

great location very clean helpful staff comfortable bed
we needed a night in Los Angeles and picked the LA Sky Boutique Hotel for a Saturday night "rest stop".We felt secure, comfortable and quiet. Staff was very polite and helpful. Parking is paid, monitored and exits out on to Westwood Blvd. We checked in and walked to many retailers, eateries and the pavilion. Breakfast was nice, conversation good as many were foreign travelers. We will go back!

Fine location, friendly welcome
In the city the distances between the several attractions are too long for the perfect spot. This hotel was a good alternative for that. The site was very nice and the rooms very large for the price/quality ratio. Good stay for visit to LA!
