4 days in Rome
Excellent hotel, close to bus and rail terminal. Reception was efficient, breakfast was good. We got the bus from Fiumicino - Leonardo da Vinci airport. Hotel is a five minute walk. Hotel is just around the corner from Castro Pretoria metro stop. We went everywhere on the metro. ¿¿¿1.50 per journey or ¿¿¿6 per day. Buy your tickets at Castro Pretoria station, its quiet.Hotel does not have a restaurant. We ate at three local restaurants, 3Archi, just across the street from the hotel. Mamma Angela around the corner, and Maid in Naples a couple of streets away. All very good but you need to book if you want to eat around 7.00 to 8.00.

Great value and perfect location
The lobby of the hotel is lovely, very modern looking and the staff are great. Room was a bit old and worn in places, needing some touching up, but nevertheless fine. The shower in particular was really tiny! Having free wifi was a great bonus. Breakfast was good, a selection of cakes, croissants, toast and fruit with coffee and juice. Best thing about this hotel is the location - very close to the Termini station - perfect for getting the metro to any tourist attractions in Rome, and brilliant little restaurants and a cheap supermarket nearby as well. Definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon. The rooms are quite small but very pretty and comfortable. Wifi is complimentary which is great. The breakfast in the morning was amazing - great selection and their coffee machine makes the greatest cappuccino's. The hotel is walking distance from the train station called Termini - this is great as you can go anywhere from there as the busses (including the hop-on, hop-off busses) are all there too. Great if you want to see all Rome has to offer and the hotel is very comfortable.

Good value for money
I got a 'deal' of two nights plus one night free .... so was pleased with that to start with.The hotel is a short walk, even with a suitcase, from the Termini.A good looking foyer and reception desk, the staff were very helpful. Booked a taxi for me and I was able to leave my luggage on the last day while sightseeing before catching an afternoon flight.But ... the breakfasts were the best I have had in a European hotel in a long, long time.People used to English breakfast may not realise than breakfast in Italy is usually a cappuccino and a biscuit, very rarely more. Here I had a choice of cereals and fruit, scrambled egg, bacon and smoked sausage, pastries, croissants,yoghurt, toast ... and a toasting machine that really worked! Plus fresh fruit which people seemed to treat as a 'to-go' item. The coffee was good too.The bedroom was basic but adequate, never switched the TV on, so don't know.Oh yes, big, big point in their favour. Free wifi. Gave me the password as I signed in. Loved that.Walk in shower, not over the bath and a decent sized bathroom with hairdryer and shower/shampoo gel. Clean towels each day. Safe in the wardrobe and a tray of tea making equipment. Ate in two small restaurants in the area, one on the same street, one around the corner. Cheap and cheerful. Wouldn't hesitate to go back to this hotel.The bed was very hard and when I commented on leaving, the reception told me that if I had said so, they would have done something about it. But it wasn't really a big deal ... Otherwise I would have said earlier. Don't know if they would have changed the mattress or put a pad over it. But if you go and find the mattress too hard ... say so straightaway!
