great hotel, great staff!
i've been here just for 2 nights with my GF: as soon as we arrived the guy opened a map and explain EVERY places where to visit florence like a touristic guide. The staff has been very gentle and every our request has been solved with a smile. The room were clean, bathroom not so small and the bed big! only 1 thing to be improved: included breakfast needs more. right price for a well located 4stars hotel at 5-6 min from the station.

Friendly staff, great and quite location and nice rooms
The room was very good and clean, the people at the reception were very friendly and helpful, especially Carlo. The location it was great, ten to fifteen minutes walk to the historic centre. the area was peaceful and quite. The breakfast also was good.Good value for money. Would recommend it!

Average hotel but good location in Florence
We stayed a full week in De Rose Palace.The room was furnished in "historical" style, but quite comfortable. It (Room 101) was a strange shape because the lift appears to have taken a chunk out of it, but it was still quite spacious. The room has twin beds made up as if it is a double - but, unlike others apparently, it was very solidly in position.It is a front room, but with the shutters closed you cannot see much of the rather nice street. The street is very quiet, so I would recommend a front room if possible.Breakfasts were rather disappointing - same every day, and not much choice. Addition even of some vegetables (tomatoes and cucumbers) would have been most welcome.It is not a long walk into the centre from this quieter part of the town.

Great staff - Carlo was awesome!
My Mum and I recently stayed at De Rose Palace for 3 nights and were amazed by the quality staff and cleanliness of the room! Despite the 15 minute walk to the centre of Florence/Ponte Vecchio, We would definitely recommend this hotel as the distance makes a lovely walk home and the hotels environment was amazing!

Nice location, room, and staff
An excellent choice. Resonably priced, staff very helpful, answering all questions. Just a few blocks from the train station and Florence proper. Free internet worked well, breakfast was served in a basement roon and was reasonable. All in all, for the price a very nice hotel - no complaints at all. Would stay here again. You won't be disapointed.
