We had our hotel changed from our original tour hotel we had picked pre tour. Upon arrival we were a little worried what we would walk into. The guy at the desk was very helpful and put us in a corner suite upon request for somewhere quiet. Great location the suites have everything you need was great to have somewhere to wash your clothes without leaving the hotel. Great places to eat locally and independant grocers shop was fantastic. Bus stops just out the front. Would stay again in a suite.

A good choice
Lots to choose from in Vancouver but you cannot go too far wrong with this one. Room was clean, staff was friendly and location has lots to offer. For those first time visitors to the city, I recommend getting a hot dog to snack on when walking around downtown. yumm.

Party hotel.........boom boom boom boom
Place looked fine on paper, good price for a suite in a good location, yaaaaayyy!However, party people use this place all week round. Every night we were there the noise from one room or another was enough to wake us and we moved room twice!People on balconies smoking/screaming, loud music in rooms a few floors below or at the end of the corridor at all hours of the day and night.Good points, the people on the desk were very helpful and moved us without question (i imagine they get that a lot).Pay the extra and go somewhere quiet, for your own sanity.

Good location for a fabulous city
A reasonably priced and comfortable hotel in which to base your stay, The staff were helpful especially the breakfast staff. The qualityis good enough when you accept that you will be spending very little time there. The city, the beach, the mountains, the Islands - everything is just incredible. A must visit location.

Absolutly recommendable for a short stay in Vancouver
We startet our West- Canada- Roundtrip in Vancouver and stayed for 2 nights at the Sandman Suites. Our room was located on the 6. floor...not such a great view, but, as we weren¿¿t planning to stay in the hotel room the whole time, still ok. The room was clean and the bedroom was seperated from the living room/ kitchenette. The hotel itselve is an old building and a bit clairaudient- but near everything you want to see in Vancover (Granville Island, Stanley Park, China Town (35min walk), etc.). The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunatly the breakfast is very moderate and the parking with $18,75 plus tax $3,94very expencive.
