Excellent room, very large with gorgeous views
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, the room was very clean and spacious - although the plethora of lights was a little confusing! The breakfast is now the best continental buffet breakfast we have ever had. The selection was sublime and the 2 women who kept it running were also very nice and very good. Also got prosecco as part of the deal which was a very nice surprise!!The only downside is that it's a drive from the centre of Dornbirn, however if you're looking for a great place to relax with good views I would recommend here to you.

OK for being in the middle of nowhere
The FP Dornbirn is the most American choice you can opt for in the region between Sankt Gallen, Lindau and Vaduz. It is well located at the autobahn and parking is convenient at a daily price of 10 Euro. Reception is fine, nothing spectacular, but I am not checking in at a Park Hyatt or Four Seasons, so I do not expect the extra treat. The rooms range from small to medium sized, some suites are a little more generously equipped. The view is nice, and at first glance the hotel with it's top level gym and spa does have it's eye openers.When having a closer look there are many things which need improvement: First, room service. They never got my order 100% right. Once the wrong salad sauce, once the wrong water, once the wrong salad, once by far later than 45 minutes...well, simply 3 star ifvat all. The room service menu does not change and the paper it is written on is splashed by dribble of ketchup, mustard or other sauces. The way of merketing a room service menu can be done differently and does not even deserve a 2 star rating! Breakfast is dissapointing. If younare used to Intercontinentals, Park or Regency Hyatts, JW Marriotts, forget breakfast here. Very little to no choice if youmare looking for alternatives or a healthier Japanese/Asian choice. It is bread, eggs, ham, jam,...well, as I said nothing great. 1 star. The view from the restaurant though deserves a 5 star.The facilities in the room / bathroom are all in all 3 star, many taps are chipped, partially broken, the cosmetic mirrors are not always screwed tightly, water pressure and towels are good though.The beds and pillows are fine, a bit simple, but fine. A strong three star.Well, I guess that is it. If you are on a SPG trip, hunting points or stays this place is a good bargain. Do not expect too much, then this place is OK. Several points need severe brushing up - see my comments before.

like going home!
We have stayed at this hotel 6 times over the past year. It is absolutely amazing! The food, the staff, the spa, the rooms...all exactly what you could want from a hotel.If you like outdoors and winter sports, the slopes are only 10 minutes away. There is a shopping center right across the road. The spa is amazingly peaceful...and great after a day of skiing! The breakfast has everything you could want. And the price is just unbeatable!

excelent views and wibe
new fresh hotel with WOW spa and HUGE gym. just for these 2 makes sence to check in this place. rooms are big and bright. everything works just perfect and feels chic but not too much. the breakfest at the highest floor is something great. another way to enjoy the alps. rec. in the summer.

Sophisticated and Comfortable
This hotel is fantastic if you are looking for a hotel that has access to the 4 corners area- close to Liechtenstein and Lake Constance. It is right next to the autobahn and has a mall across the street which is convenient. The rooms are some of the finest quality I've seen at this price range in Europe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free version of their wireless internet was sufficient for my uses. I didn't use the spa but went to check it out and the facilities looked amazing; wish I had time for it. The restaurant on the top floor is a must. The views are fantastic and the food is quite decent; at least go up for a drink to enjoy the view. If you're looking to enjoy downtown Dornbirn, you'll need to drive or take a taxi because it's a few km away. One should make it down there, at minimum, for dinner at Rotes Haus.
