Stayed In Room 3 (Single Room). The bed was comfortable, the room just about big enough, the shower adequate although temperature control difficult to use. I stayed with a bike and was allowed to lock it up outside in a garden shed. I only ate toast and coffee for breakfast but everyone else's cooked breakfasts looked good. The owners were helpful and friendly. Overall - good value and excellent location.

We stopped here for a few nights to explore the area and were happy with the stay. The rooms were pleasant enough and the wi-fi worked well which was useful. The breakfast timings were quite restricted with a 30 minute window, but it suited us ok, and the full English was very nice. Our only little gripe was that biscuits were provided on the tray on the first night but not the others, a little disappointing as the price was constant and you'd like to think by staying longer you are a good customer. There was also more traffic noise than you'd expect from the nearby cutting. However, the b&b is very well placed for easy access in and out of Shrewsbury to explore the surroundings, loads of eating places close by and only 10 minutes walk down the road to the town - the on site parking was fine and we were more than happy with the stay.

A big welcome from the landlady. The location is good being near enough the old town to leave your car in the car park and toddle along the Abbey Forgate for your evening meal and bevy. Room five is nice as a single room with a 4¿¿¿6¿¿¿ bed. Admittedly the mattress had seen better days but I was so tired I¿¿¿d have slept on a bale of straw and I had two undisturbed nights. Very nice shower room. The only real disadvantage of Abbey Court is the restrictive breakfast times: 8.30-9.00 on Sunday and the same on Monday ¿¿¿because it¿¿¿s a bank holiday¿¿¿. Don¿¿¿t stay here if you need an early start.

spent a weekend here, Val was so welcoming and i felt like i had known her for years. The bed was so comfy the best sleep i had for ages ( i asked if i could take it home ) . The breakfast well what can i say except fantastic, fantastic . More toast was offered , more drinks it was excellent . It won't be your cup of tea if you want the Ritz but for a weekend it was perfect . Well done Val and Andy

This is what I describe as an extended B&B, so don't expect hotel accomodation. Room saw reasonably sized with Tea/ Coffee, TV & En Suite. Perhaps a little dated but clean & comfy. Breakfast was excellent. It's about a 15 minute walk into town centre. Overall no gripes.
