Fantastic service, fantastic value for money
We are a family with 2 children, it was our 4th holiday in Tenerife and the best one so far thanks to this hotel! I had booked via the website 'Secret Escapes' for a very good price and I had sent an email to the hotel beforehand asking for an apartment at the front as I was worried that for the price we paid we would get a room at the back or near 'that famous bad smell'. Well, we were not disappointed at all : we got apartment 614 with a lovely view to the sea, the outdoor bar and the rest of the complex (see picture). The other reviewers were right, this hotel is absolutely immaculate! Even the kitchen was unbelievably clean : the oven, fridge, pots and pans looked like new and unused, the cutlery was nicely aligned in the drawer, etc...I had never seen that! And there was everything you need to cook.The customer service was impressive too. We talked to a Spanish lady receptionist and two French receptionists and they were very friendly and helpful. Each time we needed something like more quilts, more sugar sachets or more toilet rolls, the item was delivered to our room within minutes...waow!The only downsides : the sofa bed and especially the pillows, too big and fluffy, were rather uncomfortable (I would buy a cheap pillow from El Corte Ingles next time we visit the hotel) and the supermarket downstairs had such high prices (¿¿¿7.50 for a buch of grapes!!!) and unfortunately their fresh croissants and viennoiseries were thick and heavy.The area around the hotel is quiet and nice, apart from the ugly abandoned building sites nearby. You need a car as there is no beach here. But there's plenty of small shops and restaurants. We found a great Indian restaurant (Haweli) in the Centro Comercial San Blas about 15 minutes walk away!I really hope we can find another offer for this hotel later in the year...and we'll be back!

Fantastic
This was our third visit to Santa Barbara but the first with a baby, as he was only 4 months we were a little nervous. As members of diamond we had access to the 'baby catalogue' which is fantastic! Everything you could possibly need can be supplied by the resort which was a great help. The whole resort is clean and tidy and the refurbishments that have been made so far are fantastic. The food at the pool bar and the restaurant is lovely and in the surrounding area there are some other fantastic restaurants. I would really recommend this hotel and we will be returning.

Old saying "Eat your food of the floor" so true!!!
Recently travelled here, courtesy of a very good friend who is a member of Diamond Resorts. Second time in 4 years...This place is absolutely first class!!! Really..I have tried very hard to look for something to moan about and I have to say I've been unsuccessful...everything perfect!!! We love it and will be back...whether you want a family holiday or a romantic retreat you'll not be disapointed.

I have just arrived back from what I can only call a amazing picturesque holiday at the Santa Barbara all staff spoke excellent English and where all very helpful. It was mine and my friends birthdays while we were there and we both got champagne which was lovely of the staff. The little Italy restaurant on site did the most amazing steak its a must try and very good prices. This resort is more for couples and families but we had the best of both world chilled by day and then a taxi to Playa de Las Americas in the evening which cost 20 euros each way is expensive but if there's a few of you its not to bad. The resort has security wandering the corridors at night and if u have a late night then the main doors are closed but there is a telephone and it connects to reception and they let you in very good security indeed. The resort do all the excursions and the coach picks you up from the front of the resort, Santa Cruz trip was not worth the money unless you want to go to museums there as the shopping was poor, loro paurque is a defo must it took 1 hour to get to from the resort by coach but a Fab day the whale show was my favourite . And finally we went on the catamaran and swam in the Atlantic with turtles below us amazing we has 8 dolphins jumping in front of us on the boat and saw 2 whales you get free food a drink on board too so worth the money amazing. We also found a tapas restaurant local to the resort you come out of the resort and turn right and wander round the corner there's a few restaurants and its called dabda wine bar and tapas food is outstanding its a must and very good prices its a English lady that owns it. Overall a Fab holiday and we will be returning next year with out fail

Love this place
This is a great family hotel. We love it here and have been many times. The hotel is spotless and the staff are always on hand to help.The entertainment club for the kids is probably one of the best we have experienced.
