Solid, Solid, Solid Hotel
No complaints here. We were unexpectedly booked here by a friend who couldn't host us and aside from a mediocre mattress we couldn't have been happier. The bar stayed open late for us to enjoy our drinks. They made us sandwiches even after the kitchen closed, and the bartender was only 19- good job! He handled everything perfectly and should be commended. Not too many 19 year old's already get it that the customer's king.The lovely girl at check in (10p) was the same girl at check out (11a). How does she do that? Especially with a smile. The room was small but attractive, the bathroom was very small but seemed renovated and we had absolutely no complaints- except the terribly poor shower water pressure. Breakfast has plenty of options and was a self-serve buffet w/nearly no staff to support it- huh? The attached health club was lovely with a long lap pool.My only complaint was that the front door was open ALL morning and the lobby was freezing. That's just plain dumb, but it seemed like it was partially the manager's fault- received multiple boxes which forced the automatic door open- which still stayed open even after the hour + it took to move the boxes. If it was the manager's decision, he did a poor job managing. We really liked this place and would be happy to recommend it and stay there again. Thanks for a relaxing night.

Very plush
Went on spa and star weekend, up graded to stay in the executive twin. Very clean pleasant surroundings, the room was excellent and very comfortable to relax in and watch the tv from the sofa. The evening meal was served very quick and cleared away to get on with the Evening entertainment which was excellent. Very pleasant and enjoyable stay ..

Fantastic staff
My friend and I went to the Hallmark last weekend for a two night stay that included a three course evening meal and breakfast along with full use of the leisure facilities and we couldnt have asked for more attentive staff, wonderful food and a massage to die for!All of the staff we came across were not only professional but so friendly and couldnt have done more to help, recommend or just generally chat - to name a few Sean the restaurant manager along with the rest of the team, the lovely lady on reception who helped with our TV, the wonderful staff in the Spa Alison and Anna.The food was wonderful, our room had chocolate dipped strawberries on arrival which was a lovely touch, we really couldnt have asked for more - however the staff at this hotel are what make a great place even better - what a team!

Nice spa break,we will be returning.
Me and my wife enjoyed a one night spa break at the Hallmark.The rooms are nice and clean with everything you need in them,the spa area was nice and clean and the jacuzzi is superb,but what really setsthis place off is the restaurant,the food is to die for,on our deal we had chocolates and wine in our room on arrival,tapas at around 5:30 pm then a sit down meal in the restaurant around 7 ish,slept superb and came down in the morning to a fantastic breakfast choice,then my wife had a treatment in the spa facillity.Looking forward to going back.

not 4 star accomadation
nice hotel, but should be down graded to 3 star, the lift was like something out of faulty towers, the rooms were tiny especially the bathroom and the restaurant for breakfast i believe for 4 star should have had waitress service, the food was fantastic, but would not stay there again for the prices being charged for 4 star accommodation, the grading needs to be looked at and reviewed. Our bedroom window around the outer edge was cracked and covered in dirt and mould, it was quite disgusting
