Great Weekend Break
By our standards this was not a 4 star most probably a great 3. However this is not detracting how friendly the staff our.We arrived on the Friday and they booked us into a very large two bedroom family suite, perfect views went to sleep,listening to the sea crashing on the rocks below.Room was immaculate, shower excellent.Location was great for the San Blas square and great location to play links golf.I found the breakfast room too hot however you can eat outside on the deck.Two cost us ¿¿140 through Bookng.Com and was worth the money.We liked the small bar I think if you went all inclusive it might feel limited.Go,on book it you might enjoy the views and fresh air are wonderful.

Nice hotel fantastic location
This is a nice hotel in a great location. Some of the outside areas could use some maintenance before long as it would be a shame to let this bring the hotel rating down. The bedroom was clean and towels and bedding changed daily. Great size balcony with wonderful sea view. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. There is a square across from the hotel with cafes, bars, hairdresser and supermarket. Also at least 2 hire car offices where you can book excursions. Nutters is a fantastic cafe open during the day for sandwiches, home baking and although I didn't sample it, huge english breakfast with everything you could ask for! Staff are friendly and really helpful.I would return to this area and hotel.

Vincci Tenerife Golf Hotel - lovely but quiet
The staff at this hotel could not be any friendlier and nothing was a problem to them. On arrival checking in was easy and trouble free. The room was spotless and had a large sea facing balcony exactly as we had asked for. The fixtures are a bit dated however and the rooms could do with a bit of modernisation however they are very comfortable. The Hotel would also benefit from attention to exterior paintwork as some of this is peeling and unsightly.As we were not all inclusive we found that 15 euros for two vodkas and coke to be a bit excessive and as a consequence made use of the nearby bars, many of which had drinks promotions available. The breakfast in the Hotel was all you would expect, not great but edible and a bit samey after a few days. We ate out every night in the San Blas centre which is 50 yards from the hotel and there are a variety of restaurants which compete against each other and consequently the prices are very reasonable.The hotel is situated next to the sea and there are several walks along the sea front. It was an ideal location for the quiet type of holiday we wanted.

booked as a luxury 4 star all inclusive 7 day holiday 22/ 29 april 2013
i used a company i have traveled with for years Voyage prive ( a luxury travel members only club ) Well Not this time it would seem ! this hotel is 2 star at best faciltys are wore out and drap , the room guide lists various bar and restarants that the reception imforms me arnt available till June july & aug ??? how that Right it is like being at a buttlins camp . too many broken bits and faulty things to list needs reviving ASAP and to supply whats sold very mis represented . have been to tenerifie over 10 times but not again !!!

Good - for a night
I forked out ¿¿44 for bed and breakfast through Lastminute.com's secret hotels deal.The hotel looks out to the Atlantic at the end of a U-shaped shopping and residential parade in Golf del Sur. My room was spacious with a large en-suite, subtle decor and a sea view. The TV was already on with my surname at the top of the menu, and for some reason the adult channel was highlighted in the menu bar. Having lapped up a week of sun, sea and fresh fish on La Gomera, watching Deutschland Extreme Babes wiith the sound of planes coming in to land really wasn't going to cut it.I skipped dinner and headed for the supermarket instead - risking the wrath of a hotel which says its cornucopia of plenty means you do not need to bring in your own food and drink.I managed to smuggle in my Hiper Dino bag past the suspicious eyes of the receptionist.A used, stained tea mug lay marooned outside my door, cracks and weeds blight a path down to the sea and I struggled to close the sliding doors to the balcony.It's hard to say this hotel is just one star off somewhere like the rarefied Hotel Botanico, where guests are greeted with cocktails and ushered offf to lavish suites. A hexagon-shaped pool, about 10metres long, is set almost flush on wooden decking in a rear terrace overlooking the sea, but the spot lacked a bit of imagination.A small, oppressively stuffy gym hosts a handful of machines, a rack of free weights - and no water machine. The breakfast was standard buffet fare, fresh, plentiful and without the last-plane-from-Saigon type scenes that play out at other hotels on the south coast. Extravagancies such as Canarian dishes were absent on my visit but the staff kept an eye on scrambled eggs, boiled tomatoes and other dishes and made sure nothing went cold or was left half-finished.The staff did everything with a smile, furnishing my party with towels for the pool and even letting us freshen up in a room after we had checked out but waited for our flight. A lifeguard in particular toiled all day making sure the area was clean and the guests happy.The beach next to the hotel is a black shingle affair with the biggest sign being one telling people not to reserve the sun loungers, and the shopping precinct is dominated by the kind of bars where you'd be either brave or foolhardy to ask for a skinny latte.My deal was excellent value for money but the hotel needs a sprucing-up to wear its four stars with pride and anyone visiting for holiday reasons other than golf should shop carefully.
