Me and my husband and three children went to the Lanzarote Paradise Club around first 2 weeks in july we went self catering.. we were not sure what to expect as the reviews were mixed so we just hoped for the best.When we got there our first impressions where good and they continued throughout the holiday.The staff were fantastic and very helpful all the way through our 2 week holiday.The location was fantastic although you are quite out the way of things we dont mind walking.Our apartment was a 2 bedroom and was spotless and very spacious.There wasnt much entertainment at the paradise club but the pool kept the kids busy they loved it. You are quite a walk away to beach and resturants but taxis were available...The place could be a bit noisy at night and they dont have security dring nightime hours and the reception is closed at night also.Not sure if we would go back but that was more to do with weather.. dont get me wrong it was very hot but very very windy and with pools not being heated the kids were quite cold around pool area. I've just spent 2 weeks at the paradise,the room was very spacious and spotlessly clean,we were sc and had no problems with the hotel as reguards to the cleanliness at all the cleaners were in almost every day even if iit was just to empty the bins,we also found them extremly trust worthy and often left expensive valubles lying around the room ,camera,iphone ,sunglasses etc,they were left were they were untouched ,the hotel was fairly quiet while we were there and apart from a very rude barman complaining about me falling asleep in the bar ,we had a very good stay at the hotel ,i also can't understand why people are complaining about the location ,it's a 10-15 minute stroll to the resturants and bars there is a bit of a hill coming back to the hotel but it's hardly cardiac hill and shouldn't cause any reasonably fit person any trouble at all.We paid around 150 quid a week for the two of us and for this kind of money i just fail to see how people can complain if your looking for 5* accomadation then pay for it ,but if your looking for a reasonable priced hotel then the paradise fits the bill,just don't fall asleep in the bar.

We stayed at these apartments 13th - 27th Sept 2012 and 21st - 31st March 2013. Rooms are cleaned regularly, bedding changed twice a week and nothing is too much trouble for the staff who were more than happy to help. The bar staff are amazing and make the holiday so enjoyable, can't wait to return in september! Yes it is a bit of a walk to the beach etc but the weathers nice, who wants to be on a bus when you can stroll in the sunshine. People do nothing but complain about the smallest things, it's pathetic, if you want 5 star pay for it tightwads!.....Huge thanks to Clare, Jaime and Jen for making our time there amazing!

I spent a week at this awful place (the hotel not the resort) in July 2012. We were stuck on the 2nd floor in a bleak, beige 'apartment'. Contrary to what other reviews might say, the apartment was far from clean. We could not use the kitchen appliances as they were all filthy and everything had a kind of greasy feel. Even if the dishes, pots and cutlery seemed clean, the fridge and cupboards were not and so it put you off using them. We did not use the kitchen at all for reasons of hygiene. The rooms were basic and very dated in d¿¿cor and had not been maintained. The furniture in the lounge and balcony was horrible and the beds were creaky and uncomfortable. There was no adequate shelving in the bathroom. The volcano bar served awful basic food in an out-dated greasy spoon cafe with brown furniture which played 80's music videos. I would rather starve than eat in that place!The 'shop' comprised of a few items on a shelf in the games room! The rest of the hotel facilities were best avoided unless you like using the internet and have it switch off in the middle of paying an important bill.This particular area of paradise was miles away from the town or beach - or so we were led to believe - and a free bus was offered to take you there at 10am or 4pm. So you had to be ready otherwise it was a 4 EUR taxi trip! This bus took a huge detour to get to the town centre.In fact, as we discovered on the 2nd last day, if you just walk in a straight line from the hotel, you arrive at the town in about 10 minutes! The reason they don't want you to do this is because we discovered a lovely street with nice restaurants, shops and hotels not far from us where we had a proper breakfast and a walk around some beautiful hotel complexes before heading for the beach.The resort, although quite deserted at times, was very nice with a good variety of restaurants and food. The people were very friendly apart from the usual lo-tech electronics shops and street traders and the beaches and weather could not be faulted. A cycle ride to the airport or local Ikea was a bizarre but enjoyable adventure.We visited the Grand Teguise Plays hotel and were very impressed with the facilities. For a couple of 100 quid more, we could have stayed here in luxury right beside the beach!Please avoid Aparthotel Lanzarote Paradise at all costs.

My wife and I spent two weeks at this hotel and came home on 23rd. dec. 2012 we were self catering and were very lucky with the weather and I must say lucky with the hotel as it suited us down to the ground. We found it very clean and although we were on ground level with a patio facing the pool ( cool but usable ) at that time of year was very quiet also the room service was excellent and the staff quiet but pleasant. It is a fair old walk down to the centre and mostly up a slight hill on the way back but the hotel lays on a free bus service twice a day if the walk gets tiresome ( about 35mins.) The real fun started on our last day ( 23rd. Dec ) when I called A2B's local agent to confirm pick up time for out 2.30 pm flight and was given 10.15am on the Sunday which was four and a quarter hours for a 40 min. transfer, never mind we were at reception for 10.00 in plenty time so when no bus turned up I called the emergency Sunday number to be told the bus had called but we were not there, however it would turn round and come back for us, it did'nt' at 12.00 noon we caught a taxi that had stopped at the hotel and got to the airport for 25 EurosThe annoying thing is A2B refuse to give us our costs as the driver swears on a heap of Bibles/Korans that he was there and A2B prefers to call us liars. We booked this holiday through Holiday & Flight centre and they chose A2B not us but they don't appear much interested , to sumarise,the sign of a good service is when things go wrong and what the provider does about it apart from taking your money.Be warned about A2B transfers and stipulate an alternative with your travel agent.
