I stayed here three times over the last year for business. The hotel is transferring ownership and there are a few things about it that send a confusing message about who owns the place, but it is nice and the staff has always been helpful. The one time I did have a problem with a room I was immediately switched to a new room. The restaurant was recently redone to be nicer, but has fewer menu options. Sometimes sketchy characters hang out outside the restaurant at night, so just go through the hotel doors when coming/going.

Came to Long Island for a meeting. Checked in by Melissa. Very helpful letting me check in earlier than check in time and have great directions to a nearby Target as I've never been to this part of Long Island. Food at the meeting was to die for. The room was amazing... Tile floor in shower, soft towels, great bedding. Great housekeeping and very personalized service. Also thanks to Paul (manager) and Cassandra (general manager) who made sure everybody's stay was perfect! Great job!

Carolyn & Cassandra, I want to thank you both for your wonderful hospitality this past weekend. My family had a wonderful stay at your hotel. The breakfast buffet was magnificent! Real food freshly cooked- not the continental breakfast garbage! My wife enjoyed meeting you both, especially after I raved about my previous syays at your facility. She said that we have finally found a "home" for our trips to Long Island. You can expect to see us in the future! Keep up the great work!4seasons

The desk staff at this hotel were absolutely wonderful....both the day and night including the weekend staff! All were so helpful and friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice and clean, but needed a little maintenance done...loose toilet seat and sink. The real downer of the stay was the restaurant associated with the hotel....we wanted some eggs at 11 a.m. on a Sunday morning...not crowded, so should not have taken us an hour to get very average breakfast, but the hostess did her best to make it OK for us. This place has the employees who can make it exceptional with some a few changes.

I admit that I was a bit hesitant to stay here. My mom had taken my son up back in 2011 when it was a crowne plaza and had a less than pleasant stay but the price this time was just too good. I have to say though that I was pleasantly suprised when I got there. The lobby was very nice when you walked in, always a good sign! They had some couch's & chairs off to the side that looked a little well worn but were still decent. There was another section past the front desk where they had a couple of computers for internet use. We got there early (around 1:30p) and they very graciously let us check in at that time instead of waiting until 3pm. The rooms are pretty typical. The mattresses were sleep number tho! That was another pleasant surprise. The bathrooms were neat and clean with a nice vanity and clean shower. Overall the room was neat and clean. Would have been nice to have a small fridge but it didn't detract from anything so no big deal. The internet access was free & fast, again a plus compared to other hotels in the area where I have stayed previously.The staff was great and helpful. Especially the case since we came up to see a Mets game and found out I left the tickets in my room when I got to the parking lot at Citi Field. I called the front desk and he sent someone to my room to get the tickets and fax them to me which they did with no problem at all. Thank you again for this!The restaurant attached to the hotel is called Bread n Butter Bistro. I didn't eat there but met some friends there on Saturday night for some drinks. They had live entertainment and the place was pretty packed. Overall, I was pretty impressed because I didn't have very high expectations due to what I had heard previously. However, I would have to say now that I have no problem with staying here and would do so again.
