Great if you get a deal
I wouldn't recommend Hermosa Beach particularly, but this hotel works especially if you get a deal.All Quality Inn & Suites offer a free night if you can beat their internet price, shop around the cheaper sites on the web for a couple of weeks and it is possible. It's got free parking, rooms are big and the place is clean.It's a 10-15 minute walk to the beach.

Good location,"cold" hot tub spa
Location is great for walking to/from shopping,dining,coffee shops,etc also close to LAX, 3rd fl rm did have view of the ocean which was nice. Staff was friendly, room was clean. Downside was hotel right on a busy road, traffic noise was too loud to leave patio door open to Oceanside and the Hot tub was not maintained, it was not hot was dirty and the location (directly next to parking lot) was very disappointing, especially after looking forward to a hot soak after a long day.

OK Hotel - LOCATION :-)
Stayed only for one night as a stop-over. Hotel has a good location. Some 15 minutes from LAX and a couple of minutes to Hermosa Beach/Pier area and 7 minutes to Redondo Beach wich makes it a wise choise as a quick stop-over.The Hotel seems a bit worn down but is CLEAN and the staff is friendly.The downside - no Pool only one big hottub....!You get continental breakfast wich is reasonable (typical standard breakfast).Al in al a reasonable stay however I find the price a little over the top - but I guess the reason is the location?

Great Hotel
Use this hotel either side of the airport (first and last nights) on our trips to the west coast from the UK. Very nice facilities, friendly staff, spotlessly clean and a great location close to beach and Freeways. Big rooms with sofa and large flatscreen TV and so far very quiet; Highly recommended.

Good value, location, and pleasant stay.
Spent a full week at the Hermosa Quality Inn March 2013. The room was quite spacious, and clean. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast items were the usual fare for a budget hotel, but was well stocked and fresh. The breakfast area was also quite well organized and clean. A couple of minor issues: the outdoor spa water was cold, basically could not use it. The key entry on the back door by the spa did not work. But overall this was quite an enjoyable experience. The location is very convenient grocery, and Starbucks right next door. We arrived late after midnight, we had called ahead to inform the hotel about our late flight, our reservation was accurate and we were greeted by name when we arrived. We would certainly stay again, when we visit the South Bay.
